Escaping my Fate

Chapter 2

Max's P.O.V.

Ronnie my best friend had come over early today to hand out with me. It's been a few hour since he has bee over with me.

My phone rings and I get a call from my aunt Marie's mom.

"Hello?...I ask as I answered the phone hearing her voice.

"Uhm...sure...Hey! Wait! Can my friend Ronnie come too? He was over and he was going to stay the night anyways?" I asked and looked over at Ronnie as I spoke.

"Okay. We will be over there soon I just have to pack a bag!" I said and smiled.

"Okay I love you too!" I said happily an stood up looking down at Ronnie on the couch.

"You remember my cousin Marie right?" I asked looking at him.

"Of course I do!...I love that little brat!" He said and chuckled.

"I'm going to be babysitting her...tag along?" I asked.

"Sure it's been forever!" he replied looking up at me.

"Okay I have to pack real quick then we have to go they're in a hurry!" I said going to my room.

Ronnie's P.O.V.

I got up and began to gather up my things to go see Marie. We haven't been causing trouble around town in a while...thats very unusual. I got all packed and slipped on my vans, now waiting for Max to be ready.

I decided to take my phone out and text Marie. Max didn't know that me and Marie had a little thing going on, I knew she liked me.

'Hey so I hear I'm going to be babysitting you ;)' I sent and smiled.

My phone vibrated shortly after and I smiled seeing her name pop up on the screen.

'Oh stahp it! XD' she sent back which made me chuckle a little bit.

'Oh well...just sayin, but Max will be there too dang it :(' I sent back and sat up looking for anything else that might be mine and shoving it into my backpack.

'Ronnie what if he finds out?' Marie messages me and I checked my phone I could tell she really didn't want him to know.

'He won't!' I sent back and looked at Max throwing my backpack over my shoulder. "Bro when can we go?" I asked.

He replied with a simple "lets go!"

I walked out with him as he locked the door and we went to the car I climbed into the passenger side and him the drivers side.

I felt my phone buzz again and I looked at the message from Marie of course.

'I know...bur I feel bad for not telling him too...' I read her text.

I replied 'on the way now, we can talk when we get there if you want :)' I den back and slipped my phone into my pocket.

'Okay see you soon!' She sent and I left my phone in my pocket as I glanced at Max and then out the window as he drove down the street.
