Chapter 4

Marie's P.O.V
I was so happy to finally hear from Max and Ronnie as I went into my room to make sure my outfit looked nice.

I smiled and made sure everything looked okay such as my 'hair, outfit, and makeup, etc'.

I smile since satisfied and I walked into the living room as I heard a knock on the door and I smiled as I ran to the door.

"MAX!" I said happily and jumped into his arms hugging him before I looked around.

"Where's Ronnie?" I asked and looked around before looking up at Max.

"Oh he had to do something he couldn't make it" he said and looked at me. "Why?" He asked.

"Nothing.." I said and sighed looking down.

"What's wrong Marie?" He asked and looked at me.

"Nothing is! Okay?" I said and looked up at him.

"I know when you're lying. And I know you are" he said and looked at me. "You know what fine!" He said and looked at a car making a signal and Ronnie stepped out of the car laughing.

"RONNIE!" I said excitedly and ran out to him jumping into his open arms as he held me close and kissed the top of my head.

I smiled and walked up with him to my house as my mom came outside and looked at Max giving him the 'no crazy parties, no drugs, and no drinking, etc' speech.

She gave me a hug and kiss goodbye
"I love you mom see you in a week!" I said and smiled as I walked up to the house after she backed out.

"So boys.." I said and smiled walking inside with them.

Max's P.O.V
After seeing the way Marie reacted to the whole Ronnie isn't here situation I know they have something going on and I will find out.

I went inside and sat down on the couch as I turned on the video game.

I began to play the Xbox and I played zombies.

Ronnie's P.O.V
I smiled as Marie brought me up to her room so we could hang out since Max was being a party pooper.

As soon as we got into the room Marie looked at me and I leaned down kissing her softly.

She placed her hands on my chest softly and pushed me back slowly.

"Ronnie.." She said and looked away a little bit.

"I want to I really do, but not while Max is here. He could walk in at any time" she said and looked up at him.

I nodded a little bit "alright.." I said quietly and sat on her bed.

"So what now?" I ask

Marie's P.O.V
"I don't know whatever you want to do" I said and looked at Ronnie as I sat beside him.

"We should go to the park.." He said and I nodded a little bit.

"Alright!" I said and smiled.

"Max we are going to the park be back soon!" I said as we went down the stairs.

"Alright let me put on my shoes!" He said and smiled as he turned off the game and I sighed rolling my eyes as I looked at Ronnie.

Max's P.O.V
I could tell something was up and I was not about to let these two go alone to do some shenanigans.

I put in my shoes and then smile at the two "okay I'm ready now!" I said and smiled as I walked out of the door with them as we went to my car.

Odd thing is Ronnie didn't sit up front with me like he always does..no he sat on the back with Marie.

Things are getting weird and I'm going to make it stop no matter what.
