This is the story of a child whose parents left him very young. The man grew up to be a very successful poet. Although his heart was golden, he hid it from the society as they considered that sort of gold to be devilish. One day, the man realized that he couldn't let his people suffer in the same way he did. So he preached about love, compassion, romance and listening to the heart but in vain. Rather, the people became more disgruntled. They were strict theists who didn't believe in this. The only one being they believed was their God and he never to spoke to them about this. They felt that the Poet was trying to defy him and thus hatred arose for him slowly and slowly. One day the man returned to find his house burning, his works and books getting scorched and buried. He was declared an outcast, stripped of his wealth and banished from the town. The man cursed them all for vile and cruel act. He promised that they would learn their lesson sooner or later. Six years later, the man (now a destitute) struggled to live. Then a Prophet came and asked him to stop living like a devil for living in such intolerable pain agonized his heart. The man asked for all his wealth back and so he was given back all of it. Then the Poet returned back home to see that his town was struck by a widespread drought and the people were starving. He used all this wealth to bring back the old town bustling with life and brimming with color. He was treated like a king in the town until the day he spoke again. And this time they couldn't bear it no more. They murdered the man and when God came they told him that the man was defying his principles. Such a maverick had no purpose of living. God realized his mistake and asked the spirit of the man to keep watching him without fail. Now here goes the poem.
