At the house of crimson everyone had gathered to go over the books recovered from floor 67 of Babel acquired by Rias.
"Ok since we don't have much along the lines of translations we'll be splitting up into a few teams with the combined goal of decoding these knowledge hidden in these books" Huntross explained
"Right as he just said we're going through all the books I managed to take with me before we left so now for the teams" Rias said "team 1 will consist of Edwin and Clayton, team 2 will be myself and Huntross, team 3 will be Brian and Robert, team 4 will be Selena and Luna, and finally team 5 will be Sean and Ryan" Rias announced
"Um what about those of us without teams?" Cana asked
"Good question, well for you guys I need you to get in contact with father" Huntross replied
Everyone went quiet at the mention of their father. No one has spoken with him since Huntross had become king, no one even knew if he was still alive!
"Um why did everyone jump at the mention of your father?" Luna asked
"Well that's a long story" Selena replied
-later that day, the house of crimson library-
"22 years ago we all lost contact with our father not long after Huntross became king. We have no idea what happened one day he just stopped sending reports" Selena explained
"Wait I don't understand? Reports? Reports on what?...so many questions!" Luna asked
Selena simply laughed at how lost Luna was from just the basic information "ok I'll explain" Selena replied "see our-my father your grandfather is the headmaster of a school created to train half-bloods how to properly control their powers and abilities, the school was known as Mystic Academy for a long time Huntross, myself, and Rias were actually teachers there. I taught swordsmanship, Huntross taught battle tactics and combat, while Rias taught magic and alchemy; it was there we all really grew close as friends" Selena explained
"Ok..." Luna replied
"Eventually we all had to stop teaching in order to become stronger and under go unbelievable training and missions, at least that's why I stopped both Huntross and Rias had to stop to complete their training as divine generals and once they were done they just went on missions for the council and lord Satan. Over time we lost touch with our father and unlike you Huntross's and my mother died after giving birth to me from their another woman became the mother to the others. But for some reason our father hasn't responded to anyone's messages or summons so we're not sure if he's dead or not" Selena explained
"Well why don't we go to this academy and find out?" Luna asked
"I wish it were that simple, the academy is in another dimension a small pocket created for the soul reason of containing the half-bloods who attended the school" Selena replied "if not for that reason we'd be in contact with our father already" Selena added
"So then why can't we travel there?" Luna asked
"The warp gate that would normally take us there was destroyed during Huntross's red rebellion by mistake" Selena replied "and before you ask yes we tried to repair it...it didn't work" Selena added
"Oh......wait a second I could re-open the gate!" Luna replied jumping up
"What?......" Selena replied
A few minutes later the two burst through the door to huntross's office
"What?" Huntross asked not looking up from the books laid out on his desk, Rias simply waved from another desk near the corner of the room
"We might have a way to contact father!" Selena announced to this huntross jumped
"How?!" Huntross asked
"I can open dimensional rifts by connecting to the celestial plan; in turn a gateways that once connected two dimensions should be simple to re-open" Luna replied
"So what you're saying is as long as traces of the previous portal still remains you could in theory create a new gateway using those traces right?" Rias asked
They all went quite in shock
"Y-yes but how did you know that?????" Luna asked
"Your father wasn't the only one interested in inter dimensional travel" Rias replied
"Let's get back on track; so Luna can you do it?" Huntross asked
"I believe so!" Luna replied
"Alright give you're books and work to Sean he'll take care of your share" Huntross said "now take whoever wasn't assigned a set of books and go find your grandfather" Huntross said
"Nice!" Selena said
"I'll do my best!" Luna said
