What was I doing? Why did I do that? I had no idea. I just saw him there, standing there being hot with that smile of his. I couldn't help myself.
"That was…" he said, still trying to catch his breath.
"Indeed", I said.
We laid on the floor in the living room and just looked up in the ceiling.
"What was that?" he said after a while.
"I believe it's called sex", I said.
"No shit Sherlock. But why? Why did you kiss me?" he asked.
"I don't know… I just did. And you obviously had nothing against that I did it since all that happened after", I said.
"True…"
"So that was just two friends… taking advantage of each other for their own selfish pleasures", I said.
"Sounds great", he laughed.
"Speaking of our selfish pleasures… again?"
"Oh yes!"
We had just finished for the second time when Matt flew up from the floor and started to put on his clothes.
"Why in such a rush?" I asked.
"The guys will be here really soon", he said.
"So?" I asked.
"So they can't know that this happened", he said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I don't know if you remember it but you're the girl who is a big threat towards this whole band and you're the reason that we all can be dead next week. So this shouldn't have happened", he said.
"Excuse me?" I said and put on my clothes as well.
"You can't seriously say that you don't understand", he said.
"Yes I can. So please, enlighten me" I said.
"As I said, this should never have happened because you're only here so that that Al guy won't know where we are and so that you won't kill us", he said.
"So you mean that this week hasn't meant a thing? That we haven't become friends?" I asked.
"Don't be mad Jaclyn", he said. "We both know that we only hang out because it's the only way that I'll survive."
"Dick", I said and walked off the bus.
Just because we didn't meet because of the best reason didn't that mean that we only hung out now because they wouldn't let me go.
I'd stayed because I wanted to and not because I had to. And why did he even act like that? We both knew that we had become good friends during my stay with them. Was he ashamed that we'd slept together? Was that the reason why he suddenly was being so cold?
Well I didn't care what reason there was, he was a jerk.
I couldn't go far until I was stopped by Jimmy who ran over to me across the parking lot the bus stood on.
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked.
"Somewhere away from that bus", I muttered.
"Why? What's wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing", I said.
"Then why are you in such a bad mood?" he asked.
"It's nothing!" I growled.
"Okay oaky okay! Jeez girl calm down. You know you can talk to me right?" he said.
"Stop being so annoying Jimmy", I said.
"Okay you don't have to tell me. But please tell me what up with the hair", he said and pointed on my head.
"What's wrong with my hair?" I asked.
"It's all tangled and messy like you've had crazy rabbit sex for these three hours we've been gone", he said.
I looked away.
"Who did you bang?" he asked and seemed really excited to find out.
"Matt…", I sighed.
"WHAT?"
"It just happened okay?" I said.
"Is that why you're in a bitchy mood now? But wait… that's not right, you should be like happy after… unless you regret it. Do you regret it?" he asked.
"Well no because it didn't mean anything but he was just…"
"He was what?"
"He was a jerk and basically said that our friendship never meant a thing because I'm just the girl who tried to kill him and who puts the whole band in danger", I said.
"Yeah he can be like that. But don't take it personally", he said.
"How can I not? And I don't get it, if he don't want me to be here then why don't he just let me go?"
"Because he didn't mean what he said, and therefor not really wants you to leave", he said.
"Then why did he say what he said?"
"Stop being such a girl about it Jaclyn", he said which earned a glare from me. "You're thinking about this too much. Let's just go back to the bus and you can kick his ass if you want to but then just continue as always."
"Maybe I should just leave", I said.
"No. You can't go now! Admit it, you have fun with us", he said.
"Well yeah.."
"So let's go back to the bus then."
