Seated in a cool bench at the central park, waiting for your best friend, Serah to meet you.

You guys had such a fun day ahead! You had never been to Serah's place before, she lived with her brother who works as a model, he was gorgeous... A stoic man, muscular and so tall.

Whilst in a daze thinking about him you were brought back to the real world.

"(Y/N)!" Serah waved, jogging her way to you.

"Hey!" you hugged her.

"Let's go shopping, you look so cute!" Serah complimented your pink summer dress, your hair in two braids and a pearl bracelet. Since it was forecasted to be a heatwave today, you needed something to keep you cool, but you wanted to be cute too!

Smiling gently at your friend as you proceeded through the park, you honestly just wanted to get back to Serah's to meet her brother.

"Let's go here!" Serah tugged at your arm, leading you to the jewellery shop next to you.

"This would match your bracelet" Serah held up a gorgeous pearl necklace, the price was too expensive, even for Serah!

"Why are we in here looking at things we can never buy!?" exclaiming and crossing your arms, Serah pouted turning towards you.

"I just wanna look at stuff, y'know?" Serah's head shot back to looking at the necklaces in awe. You huffed, you knew you'd be here a while.

Eventually, Serah got bored.

"Shall we go find some snacks for tonight and a movie?" Serah asked, the sun beamed down, it was so hot.

"Ok, I need ice cream" you fanned you face, sweat came dripping from your forehead like a waterfall!

"Okie dokie" Serah swung round, almost like she was performing ballet, she is way too cheerful for this heat.

Shrugging your shoulders, you followed suit.

Entering the grocery shop, you made your way to the freezer section. Gazing at the ice cream, you drooled at the flavours they had to offer.

"Ooooohhhh, let's get caramel, but I like the chocolate, oooohhh mint too!?" Serah pointed at the tubs sitting before you, she picked some up and looked at the calories.

"Oooffttt, nah too many" Serah placed them down disappointedly.

"Let's just get them all, Serah. I don't care, I just wanna go home" you finally snapped, being a bit sharp with your words.

"Wow, I'm sorry (Y/N)" she looked tearful, you'd never gotten snappy with her like that before, you were never like this, but something was off about you today and you couldn't put a finger on why yourself.

"Oh Serah, I'm sorry" you gasped covering your mouth.

"The heat has bothered me today, I'll make it up to you, I'll get whatever snacks you want and you can pick the movie!"

Serah twisted her head to look at you, puppy-eyed and her bottom lip drooping, it then changed to a mischievous smile. You know what that meant...

"Okay, well if you insist" Serah then rushed to the entrance, grabbed a large shopping cart and placed everything she wanted... 4 tubs of ice cream, 3 bags of chips, 3 dips, 8 chocolate bars, 2 pizzas and she was only looking at more...

"Ooooh, I like these too!" Serah picked up a box of pink donuts, they almost matched her hair.

"Let's watch this. It looks so sad" Serah feigned sadness as she picked up the new romantic drama that came out called Notepad. Something about a guy writing to his girlfriend about something or other... You were more of a horror fan, but you did promise Serah after all.
