Chapter 1: New Guy

As you arrive in the town of Shisuta you get a warm feeling of comfort and a strange blast of sadness for a moment or two. Your friend had given you some money to buy a small home here, the government helped out too since your parents died years ago in a house fire. You arrive in the driveway of your new home. You get out and grab the keys, you walk to the door and open it. The place is really clean and it looks like your friend got your stuff and arranged everything the way you liked it. You grab your bags from the car and start putting them into the house. You lock the car and start putting your things away. The new school is nearby, Akademi High. Of course this is all weird for you because this is the first time you've moved to a new school. After you finish you head to the cafe in town. You walk in and sit at a table. You look out the window while you wait. A girl with black hair in a on tail walks over. You look at her.

"Hello and welcome to the Shisuta cafe, what would you like."

Her voice shows no emotion and face is blank. Her grey-ish black eyes are cold and emotionless. She's scary in a way but...kind of cute. She looks young, maybe she goes to your school. "I'll have some hot chocolate, that's all." She writes it down and walks away. Once you get your hot chocolate you drink it while texting your friend that your in town now. You see the girl walk out of place, you get up and follow. She texting someone as she walks down the sidewalk. You catch up to her and tap her on the shoulder. "Hi there, I'm (y/n)." She looks at you and puts her phone away. She stops.

"Ayano Aishi, you must be new here."

You shake hands with her. "How did you know?"

"You have that new person smell, plus your way too nosey to be someone who has lived here for a long time."

She continues walking, you follow. "I'm sorry I'm so nosey, I just wanted to get to know someone that could possibly go to my school." You show a hopeful smile.

"Akademi High?"

You nod.

"Yeah, I go there. Just...don't think this will be your average school, and stay out of my way."

You give a confused look to Ayano. She simply keeps walking and without knowing you accidentally walk straight into a metal pole. She does nothing but keep walking. You loom at her. "Um...okay...see you at school tomorrow...I guess." You walk back and to the cafe and get a bag of cookies to take home. You start walking home, you see Ayano leaning against a pole looking at her phone. You walk over to her. "Hi again." She looks at you only with her eyes and without moving her head. She looks at her phone.

"Hello again, what do you want."

"I was...I was just coming to say hi since I saw you over here and...your pretty much the only person I know here besides my friend which I have no idea where they are at the moment." She puts her phone and and turns her head to you. You both make eye contact, her cold dark eyes stare into yours.

"It's not my problem you're so lonely."

"I'm...." You thing about it for a little while and realize you are a bit lonely at the moment. You sigh. "I'm sorry for bothering you again...I'll leave." You start to turn away to leave but you feel Ayano's hand grab you by the shoulder. You turn to her with a it of fear running through your mind.

"You don't have to leave...I don't mind you staying here for awhile."

You smile at her and she begins walking somewhere. You follow her. You both talk for a long time until she stops in front of the cafe. Your surprised and you look around. "How did we get back here?"

"Sometimes when you aren't paying attention you can be easily lead to somewhere you weren't expecting. Anyway, I have things to do. Bye."

You grab a cookie from your bag and hand it to her. "Here, it's a thank you gift for being a good friend. I'll see you around Ayano, bye." She takes it and takes a bite.

"I'll see you around (y/n)."

She walks down the street and turns the corner out of sight and earshot. You begin walking home. Once you get home you set the cookie bag on the kitchen counter and check the mail. Your school uniform and supplies are in a large box, you bring it inside and open it up. Once you get everything up and running in the house you go to your room and go to sleep.

The Next Day

You wake up to the sound of your alarm clock, yo turn the alarm off and get ready for school. You grab your hot chocolate and a piece of toast as you run out the door towards Akademi High, your first day starts now. When you arrive at school there's tons of people chatting in the front area of the school and in the meadow area. You don't see Ayano anywhere. The bell rings and you head to your first class, time passes quickly and lunch time arrives. As you star walking to the roof you see a glimpse of Ayano waking in the hall downstairs. You walk down and follow her, she walks into a room at the end of the hall. You follow and walk into the room, it's pitch black in the room. You trip over something but gain your balance so you don't fall into the puddle in front of you. You grab your phone and turn on the flashlight. You point it at the puddle to see its not water, it's blood. You turn around to see what you tripped over, you scream as you see its a dead body with its hands cut off.
