ALYSSA POV:

As I get on the plane and place my carryon over my head, I grab a magazine and take my seat before the flight. The seatbelt signs flash right before takeoff so I buckle my seatbelt, set my magazine down, and put back by chair so I can relax or maybe take a nap. The flight seems like forever. Maybe it's just the fact that I am too excited to see Nash again and meet the friends that he has met along the tour. Either way, I decide to put in my headphones and take a nap to make the time go by faster.

I awake to the sound of the flight attendants voice. "Attention passengers. We have a bit of a delay. It seems that this flight has run into some odd weather conditions and we have to land somewhere so that we can remain safe and take flight again once the weather is clear." She hangs up the speaker then presses the button again. "We will be landing at another airport for the night and you all can get on the next plane to Hawaii once it is okay to fly. However, I am sorry I do not know how long that will be." My stomach did a few twists and I felt sick instantly. How can I wait any longer to see Nash? Who knows when the next flight will be?

First thing that pops into my head is to call Nash and tell him as soon as I land. He will know what to do.

The flight attendant interrupts my worries and says, "Attention passengers, we will be arriving at an airport in Florida in a few minutes so prepare for the landing thank you." As she said this I buckled my seatbelt and readied myself as the ground outside my window grew closer and closer.

After landing, I grabbed my carryon and fled the plane just in time for the rain. And there was a lot of it. Thunder and lightning too. I sat down on one of the airport couches and brought out my iPhone. I dialed #2 on speeddial..that's Nash.

Number one on my speed dial is my dad. My mom died in a car accident when I was young and then my dad remarried and had my half sister, Jenna. I don't talked to my step mom much...we don't get along. Jenna is only 3, as my mom only died 3 years ago and she was born soon after. I still try and avoid Jenna and my stepmom as much as possible. I'm 16 now but I was 13 when my mom died and that's when my depression hit and Nash came in to save the day.

It took Nash a while to pick up. "Babe?" He said after finally answering. "You okay?"

"Problem." I said. "Bad weather here so the plane landed somewhere in Florida. I am going to catch the next flight to Hawaii as soon as it is safe to fly." I added waiting for Nash to respond.

"When will that be?" He said, sounding really disappointed.

"I don't know.." I said trying to stay positive. "But hey, as soon as I can come I will I promise." I added trying to lift his spirits and mine as well.

"Alyssa?" He said quietly.

"Yeah?"

"Please, be careful. I don't want you getting hurt if it's not safe to fly you stay as long as you need to. I can't risk losing you got that?"

"Got it." I said reassuringly "love you"

"Love you too Alyssa" he said. My name echoed into the phone as he hung up. Everytime he says it I get chills. I can't wait to see him again but I am gonna have to wait out this storm first. "Why me?? Why can't I be I'm Hawaii right now with him?" I muttered.

I checked the time. 10:07 pm..."well maybe if I get to sleep early, the sooner I'll be flying to Hawaii" I thought as I turned over on the uncomfy couch, imagining Nash's arms around me. The warmth I miss. The smell of his cologne. The sound of his voice putting me to sleep. "I can't wait for that feeling again" I thought to myself as my eyes begin to close and the airport lobby blur with sleepiness.
