Candy had been surprised in her life, but she was shocked at the scene before her. There were two girls, most likely her age, and they were practicing techniques with, presumabely, their grandfathers. Once Candy and her grandfather were noticed, their practices ceased. The other two old men motioned for Candy's grandfather to follow them. One of the two girls ran up to Candy. At first, she was worried that the girl would run her over, but instead she stopped inches away from her. "Hi!" She started in a bubbly tone. "I'm Sapphire! What's your name?" This 'Sapphire' girl had very light blonde hair, forest green eyes that shimmered with the same curiousity Candy's had when they entered the forest, and she had tan skin. She was wearing a white tanktop, green capris, and white and blue tennis shoes. Her hair was also pulled into high pigtails. Super hyper, very forward with emotions, enjoys meeting people, cannot stand sadness, soul trait: Optimistic. Fits what I'm seeing, Candy thought to herslef. That was one of many things she had learned to do. Although white isn't the soul trait color she holds, it is the color of her soul. This is likely due to her magical abilities. The other girl slowly approaches Candy with a lot more caution than Optimitic had. Yes, before Candy gets to know people well, she calls them by the name of their soul trait. The other girl looks Candy up and down, as said girl keeps a straight face. After a moment, the girl straightens up, and extends her hand.
"I am Lennia. Pleasure to make your aqquiantance," She speaks briefly. This 'Lennia' had short-ish black hair, deep chocolate brown eyes full of apprehension, and pale skin. She wore a dark grey long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and calf-high black leather boots. Cautious of people, acts to be cold-hearted, uptight. Soul trait: Courage. Although Courage is normally a yellowish- orange, her soul is black. Again, this is likely due to her magic abilities.
After a few moments of thinking, Candy decides she could tell Optimistic and Courageous her name, instead of her alias: Delta. Her grandfather is not opposed ot her using this alias when she may wish, he only asks she tells people her real name after a little while. "My name is Candy. And the pleasure is all mine," She spoke clamly. Candy wasn't quite one to smile at people when she first meets them, only once she has gotten to know them. Optimistic seems a bit dissapointed, while Courageous keeps a straght face, with the exception of a slightly raised eyebrow.
"Y'know, you are almost exactly how our grandparents explained to us, Candy. We were told you normally keep a straight face, take a bit of an overview of people- don't think I didn't notice-, and you are surprisingly calm and good at hiding your curiousity," Lennia states. "I will admit, however, when they told me of you, I did not belive such a person could have such great strength as they had said. It seems completely uplauseable, does it not? Of course, you still need to prove yourself to me. I will not believe in your power until you have proven you have such a thing."
Candy's grandfather had told her this sort of thing would happen. She did find it a bit surprising that Lennia said that so straight-forwardly, though. "Lennia, give her a chance! That's what we did for each other, isn't it?" Sapphire whined.
"This is different, Sapphire. We are meant to be her followers while she is our leader. If she expects me to follow, she must prove she can lead," Lennia explains curtly.
"But-" Sapphire gets cut off.
"Courageous is right, I do need to prove my abilities before declaring myslef a leader," Candy speaks with a slight smirk. "So there is no point in arguing with her, Optimistic."
"'Courageous'? 'Optimistic'? Are you speaking in some sort of foriegn tongue?" Lennia questions.
"If you do not understand, I suppose you grandparents have yet to tell you. Until I know you better, I will proceed to call you by the name of your Soul Trait," Candy gives little explanation passed that.
"How do you know our Soul Traits?! You haven't even seen our Souls!" Sapphire exclaims.
"No kidding!" Lennia agrees.
"Ah, on the contraire," Candy disagrees, a complete smirk on her face. "I can easily see them without you even knowing it. It is quite simple, really."
The two girls share a glance, until Sapphire spoke up, "How much else is there that we do not know about you?"
Candy gives an almost genuine smile, obviously finding their curiousity and misunderstading entertaining, "More than you would even understand, I can promise you that."
Lennia seems to take offense from this, "What?! Are you doubting my intelligence?!" She flips, getting closer to Candy.
Candy smirks again, "Just as I'd fighured. Easily angered, very uptight."
"Why, you-" Lennia tries to throw a punch at Candy, but she quickly grabs Lennia's hand and turns her backwards, being careful to inflict little pain to her. "H-Hey! Let me go!"
"Heheh... Okay, I guess I can do that," Candy lets go of Lennia's hand. "But, if you throw another punch at me, or anything like that, I will allow there to be pain."
"Argh... Fine, deal," Lennia agrees, putting her hand out for Candy to shake.
"Sorry, Courage, but I don't trust shaking your hand. You will most likely try to turn me backwards, or- if you're skilled enough- flip me." Candy declines.
"If I'm- IF I'm skilled enough?! What the-" She glances at Sapphire, "What the heck is that supposed to mean?! You don't even know me!" Lennia rages.
"I know more than you think~," Candy says in a sing-song way.
"Ugh... Whatever!" Lennia gives up.
