Jackson..

After my last class I headed straight for the detention hall. I wanted to get in and get out, so I could just go home.

I set my bag down at a desk by the window and stand looking down at all the other students goofing off and walking home with their friends. 'Ugh. People are too happy sometimes.'

I almost find myself snapping around when I catch a whiff of a sweet smell. It smells like paint, honey, and tea. It smells like a fancy tea. 'So... sweet.' I whimper in my head as I struggle not to go towards the scent.

'Who is that? They smell wonderful.' I keep looking out the window, not daring to turn around until they say something to me or the teacher comes in, but then I hear a chair move across the floor and I whip around.

Sitting in the desk, is a little cat hybrid. Her emerald green eyes look at me in a worried look. She looks frozen like a statue with her black cat ears flattened down on her long black haired head.

"Are you ok?" I say walking over to her.

She immediately starts moving again and takes a big painting off her desk and sets it next beside her chair so I can't see it, but I saw it. She was too late, I've already seen the strikingly familiar snake eyes painted on the large canvas. "I'm fine!" Her voice sounds frustrated.

"You sure?" I ask again.

"Yup." She blurts, facing her head in the other direction so I can't see her face.

"Hey what's wrong, pussy foot?" I say jokingly.

She whips around to look at me. "Don't call me that, you dirty snake." She turns back around.

This makes me kind of angry. "Hey! What's wrong with me being a snake?" I slam my hand on her desk, not hard; just enough to get her attention.

She looks at me with her emerald green cat eyes, her face is red and her tail is puffed up behind her. "All snakes are dirty! They are mean and cruel and like to take advantage of people they believe are lesser than them." She huffs in anger.

Then it hits me, this must be the Kitwillow girl! I gaze down at her plain outfit, black skinny jeans, gray and black jacket, and worn out converse. I don't really see what could catch somebody, like the Sumpter twins' attention in her. They're all blonde hair, big tits, and coated on make up types.

This girl is more dark and mysterious. She doesn't have big breasts, but they aren't a small.

She is very pretty though, and her smell it sweet. Like they said. That must be one reason why and she's a spitfire. I know those evil twins love their girls to be feisty.

"Hey. Hey! No need to get pissy." I say calmly.

"You were getting pissy, too!" She grumbles.

"Then if you hate snakes so much why did you paint snake eyes on that painting of yours?" I say, pointing where she hid her canvas.

She immediately stiffens, "I don't know really. When I feel the urge to paint something, I paint it." She slowly pulls it back out and lays it on her desk. I look down at it. I've only ever seen that scale pattern and those eyes in a mirror. It surprises me.

"I've never met you before. I don't know why I painted them that way. They just happened to look like yours." She says quickly.

'So she noticed they look like mine. Hmm..' I graze my fingers over the yellowy green eyes. "It does look just like me. Are you sure that you don't have a crush on me?" I say in a straight-forward tone.

"I don't! I don't think I've ever really seen you. When I smell a snake I immediately turn the other way." She says seriously, crossing her arms over her chest. "Or at least attempt to." She mumbles under her breath, intending for me not to hear, but I did.
