Pain. I'm in a lot of pain. But all I feel is numb. I couldn't move. I just stared right at her. I couldn't take my eyes off of her lifeless body lying still in front of me. My heart ached with every passing second.

I closed my eyes hoping it was just a dream. I could hear her brother take a deep breath, mustering the courage to pull it together and speak. I opened my eyes and it was still the same. I was still sitting in a room full of people in black. All of whom had lost her. All of whom were greiving.

I looked at Harry on the pulpit who was telling his favourite memory of her. It was when they were 10. It was Christmas and they had this huge fight about each other's presents. A little while later, one of the presents was found broken and when confronted by their mom, she admitted that she did it out of spite. Her mom took away half the presents she got. She just looked at Harry and smiled. Because that's what she always did. Smile. That's when Harry knew that she was his best friend and that she will always be. Because the truth was that she never touched the present. It was Harry who did it. He knew that no matter what, no matter how many fights they would have, she would always be the one person who would have his back. I remembered her telling me about this incident.

Harry finally lost it and there were tears rolling down his face. I looked away. I looked around the huge room filled with people sobbing and mourning. I think about the pain they are in. When I look back at Harry, he was just looking at her in her beautiful little white dress. Pale. Motionless. Dead. And it was all my fault.
