{Soras POV}

Since the shit storm at the den a few days back, I've been living in the den infirmary, I can't go home to Roku, and I'm too afraid to look at Saga, never mind live with him. The only place I feel safe right now is here, in the den.

"Happy birthday Kan-kun."
A light female voice chirped, I looked up from my curled up position on my bed to see a smiling face.

"Thank you, Aiko-San."
I smiled, slipping my body into a cross-legged position.

"You're welcome Hun."
Aiko-San replied while tidying up some medical supplies.
"I remember when you were just a pup, you're just as cute now as you were back then."
She chuckled, making me laugh.

Aiko-San is the den doctor, she's in charge of helping the wounded, watching over the children in the pack,... Delivering pups. She's one of the demons that took care of me when I arrived here, and she also happens to be A close friend of Sagas. Oh and not forgetting, she's Rokus older sister.

"My brother...and Saga say happy birthday too, by the way."
She huffed, treading lightly on the subject of our friends.

My fingertips got lost in the cotton sheets beneath me as I twiddled them from nerves, just hearing Sagas name gave me a ridiculously uneasy feeling. I simply nodded in response to Aiko-San, I really couldn't find the words to speak.

"They're sorry too, but I think you already know that."
Aiko sighed before looking at me with remorse-filled eyes.
"Also, Kan-kun;"
She paused for a moment, scraping her long red bangs from her pale face before hooking the hair behind her ear.
"I have patients in all day today, and some are staying here, plus there's a bunch of betas heading my way after Moto-Senseis group got beaten to shit last night. So um..."

"You need me to leave."
I mumbled, reluctantly climbing off the bed and standing up, Feeling somewhat faint as my feet hit the floor.

"Yes. I'm sorry!"
Aiko cringed with a pleading tone, clasping her hands together on her chest.

I smiled weekly and rubbed my eyes, hoping that the woozy feeling in my head would soon subside.
"It's ok."

{Ryotas POV}

My head shot up from my pillow as my tired eyes attempted to adjust after being rudely awakened. I inhaled deeply while peeling the thin bedsheets off of my sweaty torso, there was a new scent in the air, sweet and fresh, a scent I could almost taste and that instantly caught my attention. It was potent, almost as if a vase of flowers sat next to my bed, creating this almost intoxicating aroma.
Although I wanted to track down and investigate the source of this scent, I couldn't. After last nights mess I had to make sure the others that had gone out with me were okay.

{Soras POV}

Early evening.

I'd been wandering around for hours, strolling in circles down the same streets over and over again. I just wanted my bed, to snuggle up with a pillow against my stomach to stop the awful pain that emanated from that area. It was getting so bad, that when mixed with the woozy feeling that still lingered in my head, I could barley walk. I knew what this was, or what it felt like at least, but it was way too early for that! But, If it was that, then I needed a bath, the water seems to help my body to relax.

I stumbled around the corner, heading down the back of the den when my eyes suddenly grew sleepy and began to burn. I fell against the wall for support, my chest felt tight and I panted lightly for air as my body began to shut down.
