{Sora's POV}

I should be doing this with Ryo...
"So, we have diapers, bottles, pacifiers... Though you probably won't need those for months, since the little one will be firmly attached to you..."
Anne rambled, looking over my shopping list as she pushed Sumi in his pram...
Anne had offered to take me out baby shopping since Ryota was so busy, and I reluctantly agreed to go... But the longer I walked around, the heavier my body became. My feet stung and my heavy belly made my skin feel bruised. I just wanted to be at home with Ryo... Though, he wasn't even there...
"Kan-chan?"
Anne's voice broke me from my pining thoughts, a deep sigh leaving her lips as she looked at me with sympathy in her eyes...
"You miss Moto, don't you?"
As those words fell from her throat, my eyes stung and my body shuddered, pain running through my bones.
"Mmhm."
Was all I managed to get out of my rapidly tightening throat.

Anne handed me the list and a basket before continuing down the isles, silence between us for a moment.
"Moto needs to realise that what he's doing isn't healthy, for either of you. You have such a strong bond, it's not good for you guys to be apart..."
The woman spoke, sounding upset almost.
"I don't know what he's doing, but he needs to realise where his priorities lie..."
She grumbled, annoyed.
"Ryo told me that what he was doing was important... And that it needed to be done as soon as possible... I don't know what it is either but I wish he'd tell me."
I mumbled, picking up a few cute bibs, the sight of them putting a little smile on my face.
"I wish he'd tell you too... Because it's not good for you at all. It's just unnecessary stress..."
Anne's words were starting to worry me. Yes, I felt the stress, I felt the pain of being parted from him too...but the thought of that possibly effecting the pup inside me was terrifying...

A bond between demons is formed at any point after meeting and it's that bond that leads to mating. Ryo and I had discussed it a while ago, our bond more than likely came to be when he protected me that very first day in the den. Thanks to our bond being formed so early, the repercussions it had were crippling. It's not an exaggeration to say I couldn't live without him, because after a few measly hours away from him, my body felt like it was shutting down. This was only made worse by my pregnancy, since omegas naturally lose most of their energy while pregnant thanks to the babies rapid growth, I was essentially a walking corpse... And Ryota hadn't even noticed...
Just focus on getting this done and getting home... I need to sleep...

{Ryotas POV}

I'd been working in the house for the past two weeks almost, going days at a time with little to no sleep in an effort to get it done before Sora gave birth. With Ujis help, I'd managed to finish all the decorating and replace the little things that were unrepairable. All that was left was furniture. After sorting the living room and kitchen, we headed upstairs and dressed up mine and Sora's bedroom, the bed was up and wardrobes and a dresser were all in place...
"We'll do the baby's room next, okay? I'll go get the crib tonight."
Uji huffed, wiping sweat from his forehead with his shirt after shuffling the dresser into its place.
I nodded to my older brother and headed out of the master bedroom, closing the door with a smile...
Sora is going to love this...

As I turned around, my face seemed to be hit with a phantom gust of hot air and my legs buckled slightly. My hand instinctively clawed at my chest as a deep, crippling pain shot through my body...
Sora...Sora...Sora...
Over and over, Sora's name dominated my thoughts like a broken record and my vision became hazy.
He needs me I can feel it.
"Ryota!?"
Uji suddenly gasped, grabbing me as I fell back against the door, my eyes wide.
"Drive me home, please."
I heaved, barely able to speak thanks to the pain in my heart...
Is he feeling this too? God please he can't be feeling this too...it hurts so much...
