Cynthia got home, and felled up the stairs to her room. She flopped on the bed with a great sigh. She rolled over when she thought of the new book that she got. She quickly got up and did her homework in a flash. Got out her laptop and checked her emails. She still hadn't gotten one since late November. Cynthia shut her laptop with a snap. She told her self that she didn't mind not having any friends, but she knew, in her heart that she longed to be seen as a person. She wanted to have friends so she could feel that she belonged. Remembering her book she opened it up to the 1st page. It read;

For the Wonderlanders of time. Of Now and Then.

"Wonderland. Weird. I thought this was a non-fiction book." Cynthia said to herself as she turned the page.

Once upon a time...

"Yep. Fiction!" Cynthia said.

There was the magical land of Wonderland, where Queen Alice ruled. Everyone loved Queen Alice except her evil sister, the Duchess of Hearts, Elisa. One day, Elisa challenged Queen Alice to her throne to combat, and triumphed. Queen Alice was exiled from the palace and was sent into hiding, as Elisa vowed that if she ever saw her again, she would kill her. In the Outskirts of the Wonderland Palace grounds, Alice meets the three Hatters. The Blue Hatter. An intelligent man, who always thought logically, The Green Hatter. A man of performance, who would always lose his belonging, just to find them soon after, and The Red Hatter. A strong man, who would prefer to take problems on independently, but was always fond of music. Alice quickly became friends with all three of the Hatters, despite their differences.

"Okay. This is a fiction book." Cynthia smiled. "I wonder why it was in the non-fiction area. It's about Alice in Wonderland and how she defied the Red Queen."

Alice lived with the Hatters for months, until Elisa, now known as The Queen of Hearts ordered for Alice to be killed, along with all her friends. Afraid, Alice and the Hatters went to the wise old caterpillar to seek an answer for their problems. The caterpillar gave Alice a potion and told the Hatters to put one of their hairs into it and then Alice should drink it. He told Alice that she would bear three daughters, one for each Hatter, and to find the White Rabbit so that once the children are born, they are to be frozen in time, and only to be unfrozen once the processor dies. Weeks later Alice had three daughters, the first, with shining blue eyes and blonde hair like the Blue Hatter she named Anne. The second had gleaming white hair with one dark and one light green eye, she named Barbra, and the third, with short brown hair like Alice, but stern, fiery eyes like the Red Hatter, she called Cynthia. Alice went to the white rabbit and froze each child in time and hid each one in a different place that only one Hatter knew about. Soon after this had occurred, Alice was captured and was killed by the Red Queen.

Cynthia was shocked. This never happened in the original stories. She thought. By now Cynthia was buried into the book, wanting to know what was about to happen.

The Blue Hatter unfroze his daughter first, but knowing that the Queen would go after him and the other Hatters next, he did the most logical thing. He went back to the caterpillar and asked if there was another world where he could raise his daughter. The Caterpillar told him of a realm he called Overland where there were palaces and rulers aplenty. The Blue Hatter told the Green Hatter of the Overland, but told him not to tell the Red Hatter, as he did not trust him, not knowing that the Red Hatter was standing behind him. The Blue Hatter was mortified, and disappeared without a trace to the Overland. The Green Hatter told the Red Hatter that he was sorry about this misshaping, but the Red Hatter told him that it was not his fault, and as much as he did not want to, he and the Green Hatter must go into the Overland for them and their daughters to survive. Once the Blue Hatter went to the Overland, he unfroze his daughter, Anne, a kindly girl who cared for others and would give up her life for another. For sixteen years, The Blue Hatter taught her how to be the second Alice.
