Be grateful not only about happy days but also the sad ones. Remember, you also learn something out of sadness.

============================================

Well, I was able to think about this because after I had a happy talk with my mother about her love life in high school, I've learned more about her and dreams. I realized that she is still very young within and that she's still shining ever more beautiful. I love you mom. After my talk with mom, I thought about the day before. I was actually sad and had a lot of things in mind. One of it was telling myself "why am I sad in the first place? Do I need to think about it so much that it's rumbling my insides?" (well feelings change, that's a given).  In those sad times, which we all want to avoid so much, we forget to say thank you for it being there. It's just there. We can't avoid it. So why not accept that it's there and be grateful.

Tip: I've read an article on a study that thinking about being grateful at a bad moment can actually improve emotional health. Have a grateful brain.
