Diana's POV:
Moving is no fun, at all. My mom's new job caused her to move all the way from Texas, Houston to God knows where. So here I am on my knees, packing the remaining of my books in a box and taping the top. After that was over, I wrote on top "Diana's Books # 4". Tomorrow is the day that we move and mom still has not told me where we're moving to, yet. She said I'll find out when we get there. My best friend, Alexia, is coming over very soon so we can hang out with each other before I leave tomorrow. We plan on going to Starbucks and then go see a movie. I was on my bed laying down when the doorbell rang, indicating that she was here. I jumped out of bed, dashed out my bedroom door, down the hall and when i got down the last few steps, mom had already answered the door.
"Hey Alexia, " I said walking to the already open door. " you ready?"
"Yup." She answered back.
"Ok, just a second. Need to grab my phone and wallet, then we can leave. "
" Where are you girls off to? "mom asked, when I was grabbing my phone and wallet.
" We're going to Starbucks and than to see a movie, Mrs. Anderson. " Alexia answered her before I could.
" OK, but Diana, did you finished boxing up your books? "
" Yes, mom I did."
"Alright, then have fun you two, and be back before night fall, I mean it. "
" Ok mom I will. Love you, " I said walking out and closing the door.
We walked down my drive way to where Alexia had her 2010 Lincoln parked. She got the car for her 17th birthday from her parents. When I got in the passenger side, I put the seat belt on while she got in the driver's side. With her seat belt buckled in she started the car, put it in reversed, then backed out the drive way.
"So do you want to go see a movie first and than to Starbucks? " She asked while driving.
" Sure. " I answered.
" Hey, text Dean and Austin if they want to go see a movie with us? "
" Already doing that." I said not looking up from my phone.
*"Hey Dean, want to go see a movie with Alexia and I? Afterwards, we plan on going to Starbucks. " I texted.
*"Yes" replied Dean, when I was texting Austin the same question, which he officially said yes.
"OK, they both said yes, " I told Alexia.
" YAY! " She said cheerfully.
It took us twenty minutes to get to the movie theater and with us finding a parking space close to the entrance, we finally went inside. Once we were inside, I was nearly tackled to the floor by both Dean and Austin.
" Get off of me, you hooligans" I said trying to get their hold off of me. A minute later they finally got off of me with sly smiles.
"Man, it's good to see you again, Diana. Its been like what, a week since we last saw you, ?" Dean started.
"Yeah, how you been? " asked Austin.
" Aw, you know, packing and packing and lots of packing, " I said with a tired face, which caused them, along with Alexia, to start laughing, " man, was it boring!" I exclaimed.
" Well at least you got that over with, so now we can watch a movie and have Starbucks together, " Alexia said, putting her arm over my shoulders and resting her head on it," speaking of watching a movie, have you two picked out one, and it better not be a horror movie, because if it is, I swear to God I will hit you two with a baseball bat. " She threaten.
" No it is not a horror movie, " Austin said laughing," and you can't hit us with a baseball bat, because you wouldn't harm a single fly."
That's true! Alexia has never harmed a fly before, let alone hit somebody with a baseball bat, so what harm can she possibly cause?"You may never know, Austin. " She said crossing her arms with a pout," but seriously, what movie did you two picked?"
" The Sing movie, " answered Dean.
" Oh My Gosh! That's the movie I wanted to see for when it was on display. "
"Mee too!" I shrieked, " and what's more surprising is that you and Austin wanted to see it too?" I said pointing at the both of them with one brow raised.
"Who cares!" exclaimed Alexia, "we get to see it. Now lets get our tickets and food before the first and second rows are filled."
