Ch. 2

Diana's POV

The movie was amazing and musical. Before we left out the theater, not wanting to be slobs and not throw our trash away, we tossed our popcorn bags and drinks in the garbage disposal and walked out of the theater. Dean and Austin were chatting away about seeing another movie, like Wonder Women or Smurf: The lost Village , while Alexia and I talked about my leaving tomorrow. I know right, kinda weird that they want to see Smurf: The Lost Village. But I know I do! We were outside, and Dean and Austin decided to walked with Alexia and I to her car.

" Do you guys still want to go to Starbucks or are we just going call it a day? " I asked.

" Yeah, we can still go," Dean said, "it'll give us more time to spend with you, before you leave tomorrow. What about you, man?" he ask Austin.

" I'm game! Got nothing else to do." Austin said shrugging his shoulders.

"OK, but we better get going, my mom wants me home before night fall." I said getting in the car.

" Alright, we'll follow you." Austin said before walking to his car with Dean.

When Alexia got in the car and with our seat belts on, we drove from the theater to Starbucks, well she drove, with Austin and Dean trailing not to far from us. It took us about ten to fifteen minutes to get there. Pulling in the parking lot, and found a place to park, with Austin and Dean parked next to us. Getting out, we walked inside and went to the girl at the cashier, that's in her mid twenties .

" What would you four like? " She politely ask.

" Dean, Austin, Alexia, you guys want to go first, cause I'm still deciding. " I ask turning to them. Then I heard a sure, and an ok. When they told the cashier what they wanted, she taped their order in and looked at me," I would like a double mocha latte, please. "

" OK, so that's two double mocha latte, one peppermint hot chocolate frappe and a french vanilla cappuccino." She said repeating our orders and asked, " is that for here or to go?"

"For here. " I said.

" OK, that's going to be $20.50" Before I could grab my money out, Dean handed her a debit card, saying that he's paying for all of us. When he got his card back, and with the cashier saying that they will bring the drinks to us, we went and found a table with twirly chairs.

" Thanks, Dean. " Alexia and I said at the same time. I was sitting across from him with Alexia next to me and Austin next to him.

" Yeah thanks man." Austin said patting him on his right shoulder.

" Hey, it's the least I can do and you're welcome. " He said putting his wallet back in his pant pocket.

" So who ordered a peppermint hot chocolate frappe? " i ask.

" I did! " Austin answered.

" Why would you order a peppermint hot chocolate frappe? "

" Cause I like it when my mouth is minty. " Now that just made me laughed." What?! What so funny, Diana? "

" Oh, nothing. Just the way you said it. " I said after calming down from my laughter. After that was over, the lady from earlier, came with our drinks. Alexia and I got the double mocha, while Dean got the french vanilla and of course, Austin got the peppermint hot chocolate frappe. It was 6 p.m. when we got done drinking our coffee​ and leaving the restaurant. We walked to our cars parked next to each others, laughing at Dean, because of the funny face he had been making.

I walked to the passenger side and was about to get in, when all of a sudden I was grabbed by the wrist and into a great big bear hug by both Dean and Austin. Alexia was watching the whole ordeal with her arms crossed on top of the hood of the car.

"You take care of yourself, Diana." Dean said after letting go of me, " If you need anything, well you know my number."

"Yeah, and you also have mine. " Austin said stepping back," we're going to miss you a lot . "

" Aw, you're making me cry!" I said with a sniffle, "I'm going to miss you guys as well. You're the most amazing friends a girl could ever ask for, and you too, Alexia." I said turning towards her a she came around to join with Dean and Austin, giving me a group hug.

"You're the most generous friend that the three of us have ever had, Diana." she said with tears in her eyes, "I'll come by tomorrow before you leave .

" Us too! " Dean said pointing to himself and Austin.

After the hugging, and almost tearing up, Alexia drove me home. It was almost dark, and the side street lamps started to flicker on. She drove up my driveway and parked.

" Well, I'll see you tomorrow. Good Night." I said. When I got out she started her car and before backing out, waving bye. I stood out front waving bye and watched her drive off. Tomorrow is the day. I thought. I went inside and with the door shut behind, wishing mom and dad a Good Night, i went up to my room and did a belly flop on my bed. I got up after a minute laying face down, and went to my connected bathroom and did my nightly routine before going to bed. I didn't fall asleep till 11p.m. thinking about tomorrow.
