Diana's POV

I woke up to birds chirping and the sun shining in my face. I had set my alarm on my phone to 8 this morning, but woke up fifteen minutes before it could go off. I got up and went to my closet, grabbing a pair of skinny jeans and a minty color blouse with a pair of matching converses. When I got my clothes for the day, I went to shower and did my morning routine. I came out of my bathroom refreshed and went to my makeup mirror and french bride my hair, after I got done putting light makeup on. I don't wear much makeup because I don't want to be like those girls who look like they have painted their face.

" Diana, breakfast is ready!" I heard my mom hollered from the kitchen.

"OK, I'll be down in just a bit. " I hollered back. I grabbed my phone from the nightstand, unplugged it from its charger and started to text Dean.

*" Hey, you up? " I texted.

*" I am now. What's up? Oh when are you leaving? " Ten seconds later was his replied.

*" What? No Good Morning? " I sent him with a sad emoji face after that.

*" Good Morning. Happy now? "

*" Yes and Good Morning. I just got up and I don't know when we're leaving, but I'll text you back when I get the info. "

*" Alrighty. I'll see you later on. "

When I got done texting him, I went down for breakfast with phone in hand. Mom had already fixed me some eggs, bacon and toast with French Vanilla coffee. I sat down and gabbled down the food and took my time drinking the coffee.

"Mom, when are we leaving?" I asked taking a sip of my French Vanilla.

"In about two hours. " she said taking my plate and doing the dishes ," the movers had already loaded your boxes in the truck. "

" OK, thanks for breakfast. " I drank the rest of the coffee, got up and walked out of the kitchen. I texted Dean, telling him and asked if he could text Alexia, and Austin the info. Ten whole seconds later, he sent me a thumps up as his answer. I went up to my room to make sure I didn't forget anything. I grabbed my phone charger, my wallet and my favorite comic book, Twilight, and walked out. I heard talking downstairs in the living room and went to see what was going on. When I walked in, mom and dad were talking to my friends. I squealed when I saw Alexia, Austin and Dean and ran to hug them.

"We'll just give you three some time along and don't forget, we leave in about an hour" Dad said looking at his watch.

" OK, thanks for letting them come over before we left, dad. " I said. Dad took mom and walked out heading upstairs to make sure they haven't missed anything. I set in the armchair across from Alexia, who was sitting on the couch with Austin, while Dean sat next to me in another armchair.

" I still can't get over the fact that your leaving! " Alexia exclaimed," I thought we're the four quadratics."

" I know, but it's moms new job that caused us to move, plus it pays good money. " I reassured her.

" But you're going to have a hard time finding new friends and adjusting to new things. We all know how you feel when you're meeting new people." That's true, I go into shy mode when I meet new people and start to stutter. We talked about our plans for when we would meet again. An hour later, we were outside standing in front of my parents Ford X1 Convertible hugging and saying our goodbyes. I got in the back seat of the passenger side, rolled the window down and said my last goodbye to them. The car pulled away from my old home into the streets of Houston, Texas.

" Mom, where are we moving to? " I asked hoping she would give me some clue to where we're going.

" Honey can I please tell her?" she ask turning to dad, who nodded, " New York, sweetie."

" Where at in New York? "

" Lakeville, New York. "

" I never knew there was a Lakeville in New York. "

" Yeah, same here, honey. " Dad said looking in the rear view mirror for a second, before shifting his eyes back to the road," the good news is, it's about an hour away from the city. "

" So, are we driving or flying there? " I just really hope we don't fly there, because I'm am afraid of heights, especially on an airplane.

" We're not flying to New York. " Mom answered my question, which made me sigh in relief, " it will take us a day or two, depends on how fast your father drives, for us to get there. "

" OK. What is the name of the high school I'm going to?"

" Lakeville High School. It's quite a pretty big school too. "
