Chapter 21.

Mayas POV:

"Rudy? Ma?" I ask.

I remember them. Why were they here? Did my mom send them? Why...

"Look maya..." rudy says as he walks towards me.
"No stay away from me! Why the hell are you here?" I ask

"Maya... dont worry we know everything and we are on your side!" He smiles.

"N...no you aren't! No one in this family cares about me! Only baba luca and papa juan! Not you! You left me when fame came towards you! You left me! You stopped coming to England! You forgot about me!" I cried

"And YOU! Ma you promised you would love me and take care of me but you lied! Everyone in this family lies i..." i say before crying.

"Maya..." rudy says as he grabs me into a hug.
"You are not! I repeat not alone. I'm sorry, I've been dick! I love you! You know that, and ma... well just look at her she only has love in her eyes for you!" He says.

"Technically you can't live with hayes... only family cam live with you until you are at a certain age... or your mom and dad will come!" He says
"Thats why we are here, maya we want to help!" He smiles.

Is he being genuine? Do they really want to help me?

"Its all true maya! He came to LA when you left and he wanted to talk to you bit you were already gone... maya trust him, rudy and ms mancuso only want to help you..." kalani says.

I look at rudy and mama.

"Ma!" I cried as I ran into her arms crying and saying how I ended up like this.

"Come on, lets go back to my appartment..." rudy smiles.

"W-what about hay-" i ask before getting interrupted.
"He's at my place dont worry," he smiles.

{fast forward to meeting hayes}

I get out of the car with rudy, ma, kalani and skate. I walk towards the appartment complex and smile. Its a nice place.

Rudy opens the door as i hear hayes' voice.

"Where is she?" He asks.

My heary skips a beat, he really does care.

"Where the fuck is my girlfriend!" He yells.

Hayes' POV:

I begin to get worried as rudy doesn't answer my questions.

Suddenly i see maya walk through the door.

She was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, black shoes. Her face all red and puffy like she has been crying.

"Baby girl," i say as i run towards her and give her a hug. I missed her touch. Her natural smell of vanilla and cinnamon made me calm.

"No one will hurt you, i promise you that!" I say as i kiss her forehead. No answer.

"I love you," i say.

Instantly mayas face shot up. Everyone looked at eachother. Maya opened her mouth to say something, instead she walked away from my hold.

"Maya?" I whispered.
No reply. She just walked away.

"Oh no..." ms mancuso said.
"Whats wrong mom?" Rudy asks.
"Shes doing it again..." she says
"Doing what?" He asks again.

"Building the walls... keeping her distance... she doesnt want to get hurt... not again," she whispers.

"Oh shit," rudy whispers.

"Its okay dude, she will get over this," tez says.

"Its not that easy," maya says as she walks out the room and towards the couch.

"Maya..." rudy says. She gives him a note and reads it.

"Guys everyone leave... except for ma and hayes, please guys," he says
With that said everyone left. Only me rudy and ms mancuso.

"I dont want to talk about any of this! This is not my life! I wont let it be! Now tomorrow i have a meeting with scooter and i will make something of myself! No one will speak of the events that happened today, got it?" She asks.

"Maya.. dont do this! Dont push us away, this isnt good for you," ms mancuso says.
"Ma, I'm okay... i promise you!" She smiles.

"I'm tired i want to go to bed... night guys," maya says as she gets up and kisses rudy and ms mancuso on the cheek.

"I love you guys, come on hayes..." maya smiles.

"Bye guys," i say.
I feel someone grab my arm. It was ms mancuso.
"Look aftet her," she says.

I nod. I walk towards the room with mayas stuff. Instantly she kisses me. My arms fall around her waist and her arms wrap around my kneck. Maya pulls away and shakes her head.

Whats going on with her?

"Maya?" I ask
"I love you! I love you! I love you! But I'm scared you will hurt me! I'm so fucking scared! Because you will and if you do i will break and this time no one will fix me," maya blurts out. She runs her hand through her hair and sits on the bed.

"Baby... you know i will never do that! EVER!" I smile as i rub my hand on her back comforting her.

"I love you," i say
"I love you too," she smiles. I couldn't help but kiss her. Her lips were so soft, ao delicate. This kiss had passion, had a feeling i didnt want to end!

"Look babe, you do know I'm going to Australia for 4 weeks? Right?" I say, breaking the kiss.

"Yep.." she sighed. I pout.
"Dont be upset, i will be back before you know it!" I smile.
"I know, its just that i dont want you to go... not now..." maya mumbles.

"Listen im not going just yet, still have a week! And we will make it worth the while!" I smile.

Maya weakly smiles.

"Okay..." she whispers.

We lay down on the bed, i kissed her shoulder as i saw her slowly fall asleep.

"I promise you, i will love you from the bottom of my heart, you are my everything, my only love and I will always and i mean always love you!" I whispered to maya as I fumbled around my pocket getting out a box.

"A promise ring, to show everyone you are mine and that i will love you forever," i say as i put in her hand. She held the box tightly in her hand and kissed my chest.

"I love you," she whispers.
"I love you too," i say as maya snuggled into my chest and fell asleep.

Oh how i love this girl.
