Chapter 5

On the way home
Karma's Pov
So I talked to (y/n) outside and she only spoke in a whisper because there were more people outside. As we got down to the main campus a group of guys from the A-class came up to       (y/n) in a group. (Y/n) quickly grabbed my arm and nuzzled her face into it and I blushed at how cute she was when she was shy. I then loosened my arm from her grasp and wrapped it around her and held her close. I began to feel wet spots on my coat. "Hey guys can you go away, can't you see that she doesn't like people." "Fine but we'll be coming for this cutie on Monday" they said and then left. I could still  feel her tears on my coat.

"Are you crying?" I said as my arm was still around her. She brought her face out so that I could see it she had tears streaming down her cheeks. "I'm sorry, it's just that I don't like many people or people in general, you are the first other person that I feel comfortable around other than my adoptive mom" she said as I wiped away her tears to make her feel better. "It's ok I understand your situation." I said as she wrapped her arms around me. "Hey, do you want to get on my back until we get to your house?" I asked her with my arms wrapped around her waist. She nodded into my chest as a response. I let go of her waist and she let go of mine and hopped onto my back wrapping her arms snugly around my neck. She nuzzled her face into the crook of my neck as I held her up.

Eventually we got up to a bench and I wanted to take a seat and I had just noticed that (y/n) had fallen asleep with her arms wrapped around my neck. 'Awe she looks so cute.' I said in my thoughts and lifted her off my back and held her bridal style. I sat down as I sat her on my lap. She adjusted herself in her sleep to get comfy. She wrapped her arms around my waist and she buried her face in my chest and I blushed. 'Does she have feelings for me? I hope so' I wondered and thought about it some more as she slept snuggled up to me.

Your Pov

I woke up and noticed that I was sitting on a bench a few minutes from my house. I also noticed that I was on Karma's lap with my arms wrapped around his waist and my head rested on his chest. I looked up to see Karma asleep with his head resting on my shoulder. 'He looks so cute' I thought as I started running my fingers through his soft red locks and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. Then I noticed that he had his arms around me 'does he have feelings for me? Does he feel the same?' I thought as I tried to wake him up.

"Karma" I whispered softly as I shook him slightly. His mercury orbs fluttered open as we both flushed bright red. "Hey, my house is a few minutes away" I said in a whisper. "Ok lets go" he said as we both got up and started walking to my house.

As we were walking I grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his and he did the same. While holding his hand we got to my house. "This is it" I said in a normal voice other than a whisper because there wasn't anyone else around besides us. "I'll be going, see you on Monday (y/n)" he said and I stopped him. "Wait karma don't go, come inside and hang out for a bit" "ok" he said and I smiled.

As we walked into my house I gestured him to come upstairs to my room. He walked up the stairs. "Come on follow me" I said as he followed me to my room. We got inside my room and I flopped onto my bed as Karma sat down beside me. "So what was the extra part of the reason of why you came to the E-class?" I spaced out at his question wondering if I should tell him or not. "So?..." he said poking my cheeks which stopped me from spacing out. "Oh yeah, the reasons I came to the E-class is because of my social anxiety and that I'm a hybrid between vampire and angel." I said as I let my fangs poke out of my gums and my wings spread from my back as I showed them too him and retracted them.
