Chapter 6

Karma's Pov

"Ok, so you're a hybrid" "Y-yeah" she stuttered between sniffs as tears fell down her cheeks. I put my hand on her face and wiped her tears away "It's ok, I think you being a hybrid is cute" "y-you think so?" She said as her face flushed and so did mine. "Yeah" I said to her as she started to wipe away her own tears.

...Time-skip...

Eventually she calmed down and if she were to have a mental breakdown, I would be there to comfort her and I was glad to be there.

Your Pov

A little while later it was about 5:30pm and I was all calmed down thanks to Karma and mom was coming home soon. "Hey Karma, let's go downstairs and I'll make dinner." "Ok" he said and smiled without hesitation. We walked downstairs and I started making dinner . "Hey you can play video games until I'm done, if you want to." "Ok" Karma said as he sat down and started to play.

...After dinner...

"Hey (y/n), come here" he said very sweetly as he grasped my hand gently. I flushed bright red as he sat me down on his lap and handed me a controller. "Can you play video games with me too? "Yeah sure." We started to play and I won the first time then Karma won the second and it kept going back and forth until my mom got home.

"Hey sweetheart, I'm home" "Hi mom dinner is made for you and it's in the fridge" I said without looking away from the television screen. "Who's this (y/n)?" "Oh yeah I forgot to introduce you mom this is Karma Akabane, Karma this is Irina Jelavić my adoptive mom" I said. "Nice to meet you " my mom said and gestured him to talk with her in private.

Irina's Pov

"Hey Karma, you like her don't you?" I said and his face flushed redder than his hair. "Yeah why?" He asked. "Ok good, she could use some love in her life, well if she likes you back." "Ok" "good, glad we're on the same page. Now go hang out with her" I said, got my food and went upstairs.

Karma's Pov

"Ok (y/n) I'm back so we can go back and play video games, if that's ok with you." "Yeah come on" she tilted her head and smiled looking as cute as ever. I sat on the floor this lime while she laid on the couch. We played for a few hours until I heard something hit the floor, it was the game system controller. I looked up to check on(y/n) and she was sleeping peacefully. I guess that I'll take her upstairs to her room. After I took her to her room, tucked her in and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Then I went downstairs and her mom was down there. "Well it's getting late so I'm going to head home." I said to her mom "no don't go it's only Friday so you can stay over all weekend and hang out with (y/n) I see how much you care about her." Her mom had said to me which made me stop dead in my tracks as I turned around and looked at her. "Thank you so much" I said as I walked upstairs to (y/n) as I said goodnight to her mom.
