Chapter 16

Angela's pov.

2 weeks later

It had been two weeks since my friends and me started training. Just in case any of us were attacked at any moment.

Yesterday Hannah, Matt, and Justin all started learning how to shoot guns. Which is cool.

I'm currently lying on my bed, and it's Sunday so we don't have to worry about training.

I looked down at my phone and continued playing Candy Crush since I was bored. Justin is currently well...I don't know where Justin is...

I huffed and turned off my phone before getting off my bed. I decided to look for Justin since I felt like talking to someone and plus I'm bored.

I walked out of my room and looked at Justin's door to his room to see it open. I walked into his room and looked around everywhere even his bathroom and I couldn't find him

I walked out of his room and hopped downstairs. I went to the kitchen to see Sarah.

"Oh hey Sarah have you seen Justin?" I asked looking at her.

"No I'm sorry Sweetie" She said shaking her head no.

"Oh okay thanks"

I left the kitchen and went back up to my room to grab my phone. I dialed Justin's number only for it to go straight to voicemail.

I pulled my phone away from my ear worried.

Is Justin okay?

I huffed and sat on my bed.

God I hope he's okay.

My phone dinged signaling I got a text. I looked down at it to see it was Hannah.

Besti: Happy Birthday!

I looked at the message confused before looking at the calender on my phone.

Oh shit it is my birthday.

I normally never celebrate my birthday since my dad never gave a flying shit.

But today is my eighteenth birthday.

Whoop whoop!

I guess.

Me: Thanks luv u girl!

I put my phone down on my bed and put my head in my hands.

Suddenly the door burst open making me jump. I looked up to see Matthew.

"God you scared the absolute fuck out of me!" I huffed standing up.

"Sorry...but why you looking so sad on on your BIRTHDAY!" He cheered happily.

"I completely forgot about that until your crazy girlfriend texted me saying happy birthday...speaking of Hannah where is she?"

"I'm right here just was talking to Steve" Hannah said walking in my room.

"So since you are both here where's Justin..?"

"We don't know...we thought he was here with you" Matt said shrugging.

"No he's not here"

"Huh I wonder whe-" Hannah started but was cut off by a big bang.

"Sorry I got caught up at the stupid fucking cake store...but...I got the best cake for my girlfriend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!" Justin yelled when he got to my room.

I laughed and shook my head before I looked down at the box in his hands.
