Chapter 7

Angela's pov.

I knew right when I walked into that classroom late and wearing a hoodie, that today was not gonna be my day.

Holy shit was I right.

I have a huge fucking bruise on my face, since last night my competitor punched me in the face and in the stomach.

But don't worry....

I still beat his ass.

When I walked out of 4th period I huffed and started walking to the lunch room.

Even though I have a bruise on my face that is the actual size of my face, I'm still gonna hang out with my friends.

I ordered my food and the lunch lady gave me a weird look. I rolled my eyes and walked over to where my three friends were sitting and talking.

When I got there I plopped down at my normal seat which is next to Justin. I took a bite of my burger and looked up to see them all staring at me.

"What is it with you guys and staring at me?" I asked once I finished chewing my bite.

"What happened to your face?" Matthew asked ignoring my last question.

"Stuff" I said shrugging.

"That's what you always say" Justin said looking worriedly at my bruise.

"Look guys I'm fine I just have some trouble with some certain people" I said looking at them.

That isn't completely a lie, so you can't say I'm lying.

"Angela you obviously are having a problem...but that doesn't make sense since you're so nice and pretty" Hannah said

"I know but it's kinda hard to explain especially since Kelv told me not to..." I trailed off scratching my arm.

"Who is this Kelv guy?" Matt asked

Yes I'm gonna call Matthew, Matt for now on since it's easier.

"Its Kelvin to you guys but to me it's Kelv" I said sassily while crossing my arms.

"Right...then who's Kelvin?" Hannah asked

"My out of school friend"

"Is he the one that hits you?" Justin asked surprising me.

"What? No Kelv is like a father to me"

"A father...not a brother?" Matt asked looking confused.

"No he's like almost forty I believe" I said shrugging.

"You have a forty year old male friend that only you can call Kelv?" Hannah asked

"Yes, and I am aware how that sounds but our relationship is professional and friendly nothing more"

"Professional and friendly?" Justin asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yes now can I eat?" I asked them.

They all nodded making me smile, before I picked up my burger and took another bite.

When I got home from school I walked into my house and was walking to my room when I heard a voice.
