"Your best bet, would be to Drop it."
The boy said clearly, his voice steady, although somehow still a bit quiet.
You hesitated, holding your gun steady for a few seconds before you followed his orders, bending down and placing your gun on the ground before standing back up.
With his other hand he made a motion towards him, you understood. You kicked the gun over, it slid across the floor to him.

By now he had attracted the attention of the other two. A older man, white hair and a white beard, wearing overalls, giving off some kind of hippy vibe. A woman, looking about in her twenties. Reddish brown hair, blue eyes, holding some kind of metal bat with spikes sticking out of it. The woman grabbed your gun off the ground.

You stared at them silently as the boy lowered his gun which made you breathe quietly in relief, although he still didn't look pleased that you pulled a gun on him. But then again, you weren't pleased they barged into the place, even if the lock was broken. It still somehow annoyed you.

You gave the boy a cold stare, trying not to show any emotion towards them.
The corner of the boys mouth twitched, almost into a smile but he stopped it. He was amused. Amused.
You scoffed, bringing your gaze off of them as you could hear the woman followed by the man you had heard her call 'Murphy.'

The woman walked into the room, gun drawn. She was a dark skinned woman, black hair, maybe late thirties, early forties. Her eyes brown, from far they looked almost black. She glared at you, looking you over for a few seconds before looking at the boy.

"10k, what happened, did she say anything about who she was?"
The woman asked, moving her gaze from you to the boy you now realized was 10k.
"She pulled a gun. Hasn't spoken a word yet."
10k spoke plainly, his eyes never leaving you.

The short conversation continued but you could barley hear her, your stare had feel on the blue man that was standing in the doorway.
"You're blue."
It just came out, the new number one on the list of the dumbest things you've ever said.

This made the woman they had called addy smile, noticeably holding back a laugh by covering her face with her hand.
The man with the white beard, doc, chuckled. And finally 10k, he smiled ever so slightly, it looked like he was fighting it. The woman's gaze landed back on you. She was not amused.
The blue man, Murphy stared at you for a moment before looking at the others.

"Warren, please tell me we're not taking this girl with us to."
The woman, warren turned to look at Murphy, her eyebrows furrowed.
"And, Why would we do that?"

"You found Cassandra in a cage and She tagged along."

Murphy spoke, saying the name 'Cassandra' a bit bitterly, his gaze shifting to 10k as he spoke which made 10k's eyes shift to look at the ground for a moment silently before bringing his head back up. You were suddenly curious why, but you kept your thoughts to yourself.

"Enough."
Warren spoke, her voice clear and stern. She was the leader. That was now very, very clear.
"Who said I wanted to join your group anyways?"
You spat back at Murphy, glaring at him as you spoke. This made doc whisper something to addy, you heard 'feisty.' 10k fought off another smile, looking at Murphy for a moment then back at you. Murphy returned the glare, opening his mouth to speak before warren interrupted.

"Enough."
Warren repeated, raising her voice now, her gaze back on you.
You immediately shut up. Something about that woman scared you.
Warrens grip loosened on her gun, making you feel a little bit better about your current situation.
"Hurting you isn't on the agenda. We only came here to find anything useful."

You shook your head at her statement.
"I ain't got anything for you. Haven't eaten in days, all I have is my gun. Which you took."
You spoke, deciding not to mention the pocket knife hidden in your shoe. Your voice harsher then usual as you motioned to the redhead addy.

"You pulled it on me."
10k said in his defence. His voice was quiet, but clear. You couldn't describe it, even if you tried, Although there was something strangely calming about his voice. It made you stop and grow quiet, Although just for a brief moment before you started up again.
"Are you saying you wouldn't have done the same thing? Hearing five people come into a house I was staying in was a bit shocking." You spoke, your voice less harsh and hostile towards him. He seemed reasonable.

The boy answered with a only a delayed nod. Not one for talking, apparently.
"Listen, you can have your gun back but do you know any place that may have food, water, anything?" Warren asked, motioning for addy to pass the gun to you. Addy walks up to you and hands you the gun. You grab it by the grip and hold it at your side.
"Thank you." You murmur to addy, she gives you a nod, stepping back to stand beside doc.
You looked back at warren for a moment, you then decided you would help them. They seemed okay, other than Murphy. You could do without the attitude.

"Yeah, I know a place, heading there was my plan anyways.." You started, scanning the groups faces, trying to see if you could read any of them. Nothing. Your gaze fell onto 10k, who was staring back at you, a strange look was on his face as he stared at you, which made you quickly look away from him quickly.

Warren snapped her fingers, trying to get your attention and get you to continue. "Um," you mumbled, trying to re-gain your train of thought. "It's a...camp of some sorts. well not really, But it's supposed to be a safe area. Food, water, maybe even medicine."
Not a second had passed since you had finished speaking before warren started. "We wouldn't be staying long. Maybe a day or two, then we take what we need and go." Warren spoke, breaking eye contact with you and giving the other group members a look which made addy give her a quick nod.

You avoided eye contact with 10k, not liking the way he looked at you. You looked at warren then at the ground.
"Yeah, sure." You spoke, almost a mumble. Suddenly doc spoke up, his tone almost cheery, you noticed the small smile on his face as you looked up. "not much of a talker are you? Neither is the kid." Doc spoke, elbowing 10k in the side jokingly.
You looked to 10k now, just to see him tear his eyes off you to look at doc, giving him a small smile.

"So," warren started, her lips twitching into a smile. "Guess you're going to join us until we get there? Give us directions maybe?"
You paused for a moment, letting your eyes fall on the group members. You let yourself smile, just a bit and gave a nod.
"Okay."
