Chapter 5: Moon Goddess

Richards POV

After Evelyn changed into her wolf the elders in the crowd gasped and shrunk back in fear and respect but the younger children looked confused but still felt the wave of power rolling off of her, even more than Alpha power.

   I knew about Evelyn’s power and how she came of it but I didn’t know it showed this much in her wolf form. Her ‘parents’ never told me. But maybe they didn’t know before they died protecting their young girl from the King’s men, because they had found out her secret of who her true mother was and what she was capable of.

  I snapped out it seeing as I was so drawn into thinking that I didn’t even realize Evelyn was taking off into the forest at an unusual speed, until I heard the howl of my beta alerting me.

  I looked over at Blake who had a shined look in his eye telling me he had found his mate. But he still stood their shocked I walked over on all four-wolf paws and bumped his front leg. ‘We need to go now she’s going to fast and might not realize when she’s about to pass the territory line.’ I said directly to him through the pack link. I didn’t tell him my other concern that if they found her she would be dead in an instant because of her power.

Blake’s POV

   After my father got me out of my shocked state, we ran through the forest. Trying to get to my baby girl before anything bad could happen to her. I heard a couple people falling closely behind helping us look. I used her scent and our mate bond to locate her and when I felt where she is I pack linked them and my father telling them ‘I smell her by the lake and you guys can turn back, I just want time alone with her, thank you for helping me’

  I ran pushing my wolf as fast as I can go to meet his mate at he lake. I slowed down as I came closer and saw my beautiful mate lying there in wolf form. She had pure white fur, which until this day we were all taught that it was impossible, that only the moon goddess had white fur when she would come down.  As she heard me coming she turned her unusual eyes to me and I truly saw them this time as I came closer it changed from her normal green eyes to a bright purple with electric yellow mixed into it. I went over to her and lay down beside her while she rested her wolf head on her paws and slowly fell asleep looking into my eyes. As she slept I couldn’t help but look over her as she slept and saw a moon crest that lay against her fur at her shoulder blade.

Evelyn POV

I woke up to feel the sun heating my fur and Blake’s hot breath blowing down on me from where he fell asleep. I lay there still thinking about the events from last night. Is it really possible that I have two mates and I am still shocked from the dream of last night because I know it was real.

*~*Flashback (Dream):   

    I was standing in a clearing that looked familiar. I suddenly felt cold and saw my parents standing before me, I couldn’t believe this I knew they were dead and it was a dream. Then I saw a lady with dark long hair that fell to her hip in little curls and vibrant purple eyes and pale but beautiful skin, appear before me. She kind of looked like me but I knew I knew I wasn’t related to her because my parents are standing right there and she was the Moon Goddess.

  My mother spoke first “ we have some things to explain to you.”

I was now curious now because I had never heard my mom use that tone of voice that’s a mix between ashamed and guilty.

“You were destined for great things, and there are many people out there after your life.” I heard the tinkling voice of the moon goddess.

“We are so sorry honey, we have always wanted to tell you but I’m not your real mother.”

“ Then who is?! How could you keep this from me for so long.” I said feeling so hurt and betrayed that this woman that I have known my whole life as my mother is not my mother.

   The Moon Goddess stepped forward and said ”I am and we had to do it for your protection because you are destined for great things that will soon be arising and many of our kind do not want those changes.  The kings men had found out your whereabouts and came to kill you but your parents died killing them.”

I stood there shocked at the information that was making its way through my head trying to process it all. I was so shocked that I didn’t even realize that I didn’t or couldn’t reply. As I saw my mother and father start to fade away.

“We will always love you honey and you make us so proud and I know even though you found out that your mother isn’t who you thought she was she always treated you as a mother would treat her daughter.” My father said as he and my mother faded into a white wispy spoke.

“It is also my time to go daughter but know we are counting on you and I have always watched over you and still will. I have given you two mates for a reason one lead you to another and in time you will realize who you where meant for. Also be ware you will have many battles ahead of you. Now its time my daughter, go and start what you were put on earth to do.

**Flashback Ends**

  I felt Blake start to stir and wake up beside me. As he woke up we decided it was time to head back home. But I know I’ll have a lot of questions to deal with when we get back that I can’t even answer myself.

Sooo I finally updated guys! Thank you for giving my story a chance and I hope that I won’t take as long to update like it did last time..
