Chapter 6 ~~~ Chasing the Sun

Evey's POV~~

  We ran through the woods side by side with the sun clashing on my white fur and on his sleek black fur. 

  I felt him start to slow down and came behind me chasing me and nipping at my tail while growling in a playful way. I ended up loosing myself in happiness those short moments as i got to feel true happiness getting to be this way with my mate. I know that it wouldn’t be easy, I have many things to talk to him about. I knew i also had to talk to Richard and the rest of the pack about what happened before i ran away. I always thought something was wrong with me because of my white fur and the unusual speed that i ran at when i was younger, but my parents always told me i was destined for great things. 

  As we broke through the edge of the woods and trodded to the pack house we could still sense the others still asleep. Now that i think about it i am actually really tired. As we went up the stairs i went straight to my room to shift and change my clothes. After i was done putting on a comfy pair of pajama shorts and my brothers old t-shirt, i turned around and saw Blake sitting on my bed in only his boxers. I couldn’t help but stare at his defined eight pack, wow was i all i could really think. I couldn’t help but notice the lust filled look i was getting from him as he eyed my legs.

   ‘If you don’t stop biting your lip like that baby it wont be so easy to stop myself from taking you right here’ I looked up shocked as I heard him through the mate link, i felt a slight puddle start below in my underwear. I knew he could smell my arousal and i ran into the bathroom to calm down before he could do anything. Don;t get me wrong i would love to do anything with this guy but even though he is my mate i just met him not even two days ago. 

  “Are you okay, Evey? You know i would never do anything against your will.” I heard through the crack in the door. 

  I was so embaressed that thats all it takes to get me aroused. “Come on baby, let’s go lay down.” I heard Blake say as he gently pushed open the door and grabbed my hand in his. 

  “What do you mean?” I knew what he meant i was just nervous i never slept in the same bed as a guy before that wasn’t my brother when we were little. 

“You didn’t think i could stay stay away from you for so long or even take my eyes off of you for too long. You are my life now, when everyone wakes up i am going to ask some of the guys to help me bring your stuff in my room.” Blake said as he walked me through the hall as silently as possible to his room. 

 ‘Please let us have this moment with our mate, there is nothing to be nervous about. Even though we just met with him you know that your already falling for him’ my wolf said to me. 

 I felt a new burst of confidence as I laid down on the bed beside him. His bed was a California King and he was on the other side with his back turned giving me space. But at the moment I didn’t want space i wanted to be close to my mate and just be held by him and surrounded in his scent. I scooted over by him and wrapped an arm and leg around him. 

 ‘What are you doing’ he asked me sounding shocked. 

 ‘ I just want to be held by you tonight, please?’ I said confidently. 

I felt him turn around so i was directly wrapped around his front with our noses touching. A slight blush creeped up the side of my neck as I felt his friend against my thigh. 

 “Can I kiss you Evey?” he asked me. All i could do was give a slight nod and then his lips were on mine. It was a nice sweet and gentle kiss, until he pulled away saying ‘goodnight baby’. I couldn’t help but smile as i snuggled into the crook of his neck as i fell asleep.  I could feel the sun rays still shining through the window as we fell asleep in each others arm knowing tommorow was going to be a bigger and more drama filled day that was going to need alot of explanations.

 Awww you guys are seriously the best for all the votes ! i asked for at least 7 and i got more thank you guys so much! i know this chapter wasnt too long but i lost both chapters that i stayed up writing :( but tonight i will upload the other chapter and preview i promised! keep voting and maybe even fanning !!
