After an eight hour ride for the Beaumont family, they landed in New York. Julia was more than excited to see and visit America for the first time. She read books and saw pictures of the Statue of Liberty and the Yellowstone Park. Living in America was going to be a big adjustment for her and her family, but she was more than happy to let it happen at this point.
Julia grabbed her suitcases along with the rest of her family. They were bringing their most valued items in suitcases while their cars and furniture were transferred over in separate cargo and planes. Julia's sisters were complaining the whole ride there and as soon as they landed, it was a never ending ear blood for her. Luke was pretty eager to land as well. He was just interested in making new friends. Julia's father was on the phone with the other plane managers with their things and her mother was practically sleep walking. Classy.
The family walked out of the jet and out of the landing zones, escorted to the back port of the airport, they had a limousine waiting for them. Crystal's face lit up as she saw a "high luxury item." Julia would have been fine with a big cab but this would have to do. She thought it was silly to just expose themselves like that. She thought it was just like wearing a sticker saying "hi I'm a celebrity please suck up to me I'm richer than you." She really hated it.
Julia was afraid of getting carsick so she just put her book away and sat down looking out the window. She sat by Luke towards the back of the limo. Her parents sat in the front with the driver and the sisters sat in the middle.
"So you guys ready to see the new house?" her father asked sounding excited in his voice.
"Very, did you say there was a pool? Rose practically demanded.
Her mother grinned and laughed her usual snobby laugh. "Oh sweetheart, there's two, one outdoor and one small indoor one. Two hot tubs and a beautiful garden."
Both of Julia's sisters' faces lit up. Julia rolled her eyes in response. There is no doubt that having those things isn't great, it's a privilege. Julia understood that she needed to be thankful for her wealth. But it was different, it drove her insane about how her family acted with it. There was nothing more annoying to Julia than stubborn, ignorant, full-of-themselves, greedy people. That was her family in a nutshell.
Julia looked back at the window. Looking out of it, in the distance, she could see big tall buildings. At home in Manchester things were great, but things were different too. She thought it looked pretty. The sky was getting darker so she was hoping she'd be able to see the city at night, the twinkling lights would be sure to catch her eye.
It wasn't very common, but Julia started to look at herself through the reflection in the window. She wasn't like those petty girls who wanted attention, nor a girl looking for her prince. Julia was independent and smart. Her bold and incredible personality was like her looks. Absolutely beautiful and attractive. As she looked at herself in the mirror she couldn't help but smile. She did in fact love herself, not to the point of where she was full of herself or in love with her self, but to where she just genuinely loved herself. Her deep hazel eyes reflected in the window along with her perfectly parted hair and light tinted freckles on her nose and cheeks. It was hard to see a flaw in her.
She was about to look more into the city until she saw Luke's reflection in the window. She turned around to look at him. He seemed to be getting tired, it wasn't very late but he must've been jet lagged from the flight. He put his head on Julia's lap and she put her hand on his head to comfort him. She glanced at him for a few more moments before returning her head back to the window. The city was beautiful, it didn't take much of the city to see before she described it as beautiful. Cars passed by, pedestrians jogging, people coming home after a long day at work. The city seemed less populated than she thought. Her mind started to wonder in all the plans she had to explore the city. She wanted to enter festivals, go to movie theaters, and good restaurants. She was excited for her adventure to begin until she drifted into sleep.

Julia's eyes opened to a loud, disrupting sound. She shifted her body up to the noise and rubbed her eyes. The sky got darker around her but not completely pitch black, she must've not been asleep long due to scenery. Luke was still asleep on her lap and her sisters were out as well.
The loud noise didn't stay anonymous for long, she quickly determined that it was her father's voice lightly arguing from the front of the limo. Julia focused on his voice to hear what he was forcibly arguing about.
"No! Jerry I told you specifically to go with the red ramp!"
There was a long pause in between his yelling and the person on the phone. Her father seemed very frustrated before just slamming his phone on the ground. Julia tilted her head in confusion. What could her father possibly be mad about this time? She wasn't like her sisters, so she asked him to try and comfort him.
"Dad," she whispered, "What's wrong?"
"They wrecked my Porsche," he flat out said without whispering, waking up Crystal with his voice. "I'm going to the local shop once we get to the new house, we should be home soon."
"Can I come with you?" Julia asked with sweetness in her voice.
"Eh not this time, you should unpack and try to get as much furniture in your room as you can. I'm sure I'll go back to the shop another time."
Julia nodded and rested her head back on the window seal. She put a strand of hair behind her ear and closed her eyes. She was ready to go back to sleep until she heard the words she been very excited to hear.
"We're here."
Julia gently picked Luke up off of her lap and jumped up from her seat. She opened her door and ran to her suit cases. She looked up towards the house and her jaw dropped. The house was huge, fountains in the front yard, a basketball court on the side of the house, different collar flower patterns everywhere, and a big, metal fence surrounding it all. The house looked very big from the outside. It looked more like a modern day small castle in a way.
Half of her loved the home but the other half was going to hate the attention. Either way it wasn't like it would affect her reputation. She wasn't in school. Julia wanted to go to college but she couldn't leave Luke to grow up this way. It wouldn't be right.
Julia explored the outside of the house more. There were lights covering the floors of the sidewalks. The trees and plants there couldn't match better with the house. It was beautiful and not something she thought she would be living in. Her sisters passed her carrying their bags along with Luke. Her father waved at her before getting back in the limo to drive away to the car shop.
The five family members walked into the house. The ceiling was incredibly high. The first thing you see when you walk in the house is an indoor balcony overlooking the whole house. It was a hallway with rails upstairs to connect the bedrooms. There was a living room with a fireplace on their right and on the left, one of the biggest kitchens Julia ever saw.
"Who gets the biggest room?" Luke yelled while started to run upstairs. All the kids ran towards the stairs while their mother laughed.

Meanwhile, their father arrived at the auto shop. He didn't go to just any auto shop, he got a recommendation from his limo driver to go the the "Trembly Auto Shop." Darren thought I sounded good and promising so he agreed to go there after he heard it was the best in town.
His assistant, Jerry was driving the car over for him while he rode over in a limo. The car was damaged by the cargo workers being careless and moving the ramp it was on too far causing the car to roll very fast, almost off the boat. It was Darren's favorite car so he was very furious with the news once he got it.
The limo came to a stop at the auto shop. Darren looked around at it with disgust in his eyes. He looked over at the limo driver and chuckled.
"This is the best in town? Look how tiny it is."
"Don't underestimate it," the driver replied.
Darren rolled his eyes and got of the car, greeted by his assistant pulling the car up. Darren saw they had a glowing open side by the door of the shop. Darren walked inside the shop and spotted a man cleaning the floor with a broom in his hand. The man was of course Scott.
"Hello sir, I'm Scott Trembly," he smiled looking up from sweeping the floor. He readjusted his glasses and gave Darren a friendly look, "How may I help you?"
"Yeah...I need your assistance on my car," he replied with the most cocky expression known to man.
"Sure, do you know the issue or do you have the car here right now for me to look at?"
Darren chuckled, "Oh I got a car for you to look at man. These cargo idiots screwed it up."
Scott followed Darren out to door to the car. The car wasn't totaled but it was severely damaged. Scott's eyes widened and he slowly walked to the car. "Oh my," he said to himself lightly touching the car.
"Estimating, how long do you think this will need to be in the shop?" Darren asked putting his hands on his hips.
"I would say...hm, probably around three months to four months."
"Two months!" Darren yelled losing his temper. "Old man! There's no way it'll take that long!"
Scott seemed frightened by the man's temper. He stepped back and his eyes got big. "I'm sorry sir, we're extremely booked, I can offer you more outlets to look at."
Just then a red Aston Martin pulled up at the scene a couple of feet away from the men. Both Darren and Scott looked at the car Bedford returning to the argument.
"You listen to me!" Darren yelled, "Maybe if your shop was bigger and richer you'd get more things done."
The man in the car that pulled up was of course none other than Harrison Trembly back from the warehouse. He quickly jumped out of the car without opening the car. He grabbed his keys and ran up to his uncle and the short tempered man.
"Woah. Woah what's going on here?" Harrison yelled getting in between them.
"Who are you?" Darren asked giving him a disgusted face.
"Excuse me my British? Is that your accent? British?" Harrison fired back, "Excuse me my British king but this is my uncle you're yelling at, why don't you lose your ignorant, rich man attitude and get out of our shop!"
Darren moved his beck in a Circular rotation causing it to crack for intimidation, "Son...do you even know who I am?"
"I really could care less, get out."
"I am a multimillionaire man from Manchester England. I make more money than you can dream of kid. I could sue your store."
Harrison rolled his eyes. "Why are you two arguing in the first place Uncle Scott?"
"He is mad about us having to delay our schedule," Scott then turned to Darren, "Sorry we don't favor the rich and stupid."
"You really are going to wish you two didn't mess with me," Darren began to back up.
