Chapter 3 part 2: Diamond's secret

I had the best birthday in the world but as night came things turned a little bit DARK. As the first ray of moonlight struck Diamond her eyes turned red and she fell on the floor.

Diamond started whimpering her shining silver fur was turning as black as the night sky and blue rings formed on her body. Diamond turned from an innocent shiny Eevee into a ferocious Shiny Umbreon with blood red eyes.

A Zoroark suddenly appeared and he saw Diamond. He saw me and said "Hey there I'm Nightmare." I replied saying "I'm Blueberry but you can call me Blue."

Nightmare turned over to Diamond and I asked Nightmare "What happened to Diamond?" He replied saying "She's filled with dark power and this happens to her everytime a ray of moonlight hits her. The dark power she accidentally absorbed came from the legendary pokemon of darkness himself, Darkrai."

I can't believe I didn't know about this. I go near Diamond and I say "Diamond?" She snarls at me then uses bite but I dodged it. Nightmare's head glowed a bit yellow and there was a yellow ring on it. "Let me absorb it."

He told Diamond. "I can't let you!" She replied. I was confused so I asked "Why?". She said "The dark power was embedded into my heart when I was born. I'll die without it!"

I replied back saying. "Can't we give it a little snip?" Diamond answered back saying. "We can." Nightmare went closer and said "Look into the ring." Diamond did it and a dark foggy substance came out from Diamond's chest.

When there was a few left I cut it with my telekenetic powers and I put the left back. She mentioned that it gets stronger every night so I said "Let's cut it every one week." Diamond said "Won't that be tiring?" The Nightmare said "What if we remove everything?"

I said "Are you crazy?! It'll kill Diamond!" He replied saying "No I mean we go to Darkrai and if we defeat him we can force him to absorb the dark power that he accidentally gave Diamond."

I remembered that Darkrai was the legendary of darkness so I said "But isn't Darkrai the legendary pokemon of darkness? Wouldn't he be too strong." Nightmare replied back saying "I have a plan." He told us the plan and I went inside my pokeball.

I was so sleepy so I went to my bed and I fell asleep. In my dream Darkrai was there and he was so strong that we could DIE and yes I mean die and not faint.

We could DIE because of his strong dark power but because of Nightmare's plan. He would absorb a bit of Darkrai's power every once in a while and me and Diamond will attack him and when we defeat him Diamond will be free from this curse. She'll just be a normal shiny Eevee.
