Saturday
I woke to the sound of springs creaking, followed closely by the floor boards squeaking. Looking around, I saw (Y/N) walking out of the room, his hair still sticking up in numerous directions. I laughed quietly to myself before getting out of bed myself, allowing my feet to shuffle along my hardwood floors gently. I picked up my phone and glanced at it, seeing almost seven missed calls from Peo. I shook my head and walked down the hall, to the bathroom doorway. Turning I was met with my light blue eyes and messy brown hair. I smiled to myself and ran my fingers through my messy hair, creating the perfect 'woke up this way' look. Making my way down the stairs, I saw (Y/N) glance up my way and burst into his perfect smile.
"You look amazing, babe."
I smiled at him and thanked him.
"I may be amazing, but you’re the hot one."
He rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically.
"Fine. I guess I can take that."
Laughing, we went down the stairs and to the dining room, where I made us both coffee. Three sugars for him, none for me. Sitting them down on the ebony table I kissed him gently and nuzzled his ear.
"You know what day it is, right?"
He looked up at me and I melted into his gaze.
"Three years ago, my life got a whole lot better. Of course I know what today is."
I chuckled and pulled him to me.
"My life got so much better. I am so glad you stayed with me."
He went to reply, but was cut off by his phone going off.
Get me a box of Triagnles!
And those Triagnles!
I laughed so hard I had to hold my sides to catch my breath.
"Please tell me that is Peo's ringtone."
"Don’t you worry, it is."
I burst out laughing again as he answered the call, putting it on speaker. I calmed down enough to hear Peos' voice echo around the walls.
"HAPPY ANIVERSERY!!!!"
(Y/N) answered, so I could catch my breath.
"Thanks Peo."
"No problem! I can't wait for another year of you too!"
I cleared my throat and addressed Peo directly.
"You ready for tonight?"
