'Yooooo', I said in a sad tone.
'Yo', Ali said in a similar tone. He was way too familiar with me and recognised something is off, something is wrong with me.
'Wanna come over to my place?I'm bored, let's hang out somewhere and you know do some lazy ass shit.'
'Sure. Will be there in 15.' He said without a flinch and put the phone down.
So fucking tough to spend these 15 mins. I needed someone to talk to, needed a shoulder and so I called him over, after all he was my secret holder and my best friend.
'He's late.' Gonna teach him a lesson now, that asshole.
Just as I was gonna call him to check up, he called me. My phone rang for a minute second and then went off. 'Ha, this guy never has any credit.' I opened the door and there he was whistling, looking up the sky and lost in thought, just a not so typical guy, he was.
It was late, around 11 p.m. He still walked all the way from his house to mine.
'Come in, you know where to go.'
He walked past me without saying a word straight into my room.
My house, his house-did not matter-we used to visit each other and stay at each other's place so often it was as if we had two homes. Both our families were well aware of each other so it really was not a surprise for us to show up at each other's door unexpectedly.
I followed him into my room. Without a worry, he jumped on to the bed just lying there. I sat on the sofa opposite to my bed. He was lying facing to the wall so he could not see me.
I took my phone out, and started texting my girlfriend, Ayesha. Ayesha was a beautiful girl, she had long hair, a puffy and a cute face and haaa, not so slim. (Sorry ayesha)
It is not about how I fell in love with her or how we met but we both were very much sincere with each other and I really wanted to spend my life with her. We had so many fights before we got married but we talked them all out. The bond got stronger after every fight we had. Although she was the reason I had so many mood swings but what I knew was, there are two people that will always be there for me: Ali and Ayesha.
Ali knew about her and that I was serious about it. He used to tease me all the time. 'Your kids are gonna be ugly and chubby as fuck!' 'I feel so sorry for ayesha, she's gonna marry this beast!' It was normal for him to pass on such sarcastic remarks.
After a while, I took a break from texting and got on the bed and kicked Ali on his back. 'You shittttfaccceee!!', he exclaimed as he tumbled down the back.
'You're late.'
'Bye. I'm leaving. You ungrateful bastard.'
'Okay. Sorry. Stay.' I said this with pauses in between.
Ali was like a little brother to me, really. I did not have one but he did not make me feel that. He was very much annoying, I swear and clingy, sometimes, I really doubted if he was gay for me though he too had a girlfriend. (Bi maybe :o)
Ali smirked after I said stay, he had an evil smile on his face and I knew exactly what he was gonna do.
Out of nowhere, he jumped onto me and held my leg as if he was a cat and started singing in a cringeful voice,'Ammar and Ayesha sitting under a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G', over and over again.
I thought that right. He knew something was wrong with me and this is his way of cheering me up. I giggled, he was not satisfied, he crawled up on me,literally like the bitch from grudge. He held my both cheeks and started stretching them. God, he is annoying. I pushed him aside. He rolled to the other side of the bed.
Suddenly, the atmosphere became heavier.
He whispered in a perfect volume and a serious tone so I can hear it all loud and clear,'what's wrong?'And so began the longest night of my life.Author's note:
Okay, so it is my first attempt at actually writing something. I know, it's not a very good narration but I wanted to write it. Lol
