You woke up in the Gryffindor bedroom. Her eyes wondered passed the ceiling as she felt the comfort of your bed. You heard the soft snoring of your roommates. You rubbed your eyes before you quietly sat up. Your hair was a mess like always. You pushed the sheets of you and got up. You stared at the book that was laying on your cupboard. You finished it almost as quickly as you finished every book in this castle. There weren't many books left.
The last year of Hogwarts was almost over. You couldn't believe you had been here for almost eight years, including the war. Two more weeks and you would never enter the school again. You wouldn't follow classes anymore.
Your bare foot touched the cold floor and you shivered. You moved your hand through your hair before you got up. You walked across the wooden floor and sighed. Life at this school... it was just to boring for you. You wanted to go out and make something of your life. It didn't really help that you were a halfblood and practically raised with magic.
You grabbed your favorite dress and walked into the small bathroom of your room. You closed the door gently, trying to not make to much sound. You looked in the mirror. Your H/C H/L hair was all messed up. The E/C eyes of your reflection stared back into yours as if she was a real person standing opposite of you.
You grabbed your brush. A wooden brush with your name engraved in it. Your mother made it for you, right before she died. Your mother was a beautiful women. You looked just like her. The same hair, same eyes, same posture. She had been ill for a long time and died when you were really young. You still missed her every day and so did your father.
You brushed your hair. With every time you brushed it, the smoother your hair became. When you were done you but your hair in a braid (if you can't, that's fine) and then you shortly smiled at your reflection. Then you walked out of the bathroom and grabbed your book and your ring.
The book was about two lovers in Norden Italy. It was a beautiful book, you couldn't put it down. You put on the ring and then left your room.
You were always early. 6 in the morning and you'd be the first one to wonder the castle. The common room was empty, the corridors were empty, the great hall was empty and the library was empty. Well... almost empty. There would always be that Slytherin boy. He started coming in the library ever since the start of the year. You had never seen him before until that day.
He came in and drew your attention. White hair, like the snow on a winter day. His eyes as silver as the ring you were wearing. He would always wear his Slytherin robes or a black suit. You like the suit better, it wasn't as... normal.
You walked into the old library. The boy wasn't there yet. Not that you were waiting for him. He'd always look at you as if you were crazy... not that he was the first one. In some weird way, you were the only one who wasn't impressed by the Hogwarts life. You were just one more ordinary witch. But even tho it wasn't your cup of tea, you were always happy. You loved helping other people, but what you loved most of all was reading.
Reading was the one thing that pulled you out of this reality. Into adventures, mysteries and love. The books about finding prince charming, where the girl meets a boy and you immediatly know: yes, that's going to be her one and only.
'Look at that. Good morning Y/N.'
You look up and saw Irma Pince, the librarian. You smiled at her.
'Good morning.' You smiled.
'Finished it already? You got it this week!' She smiled sympathetically.
You let out a small chuckle and looked at your book.
'Yes, I have. I couldn't put it down! There were these two lovers in Norden Italy and they were just meant to be.' You smiled.
