6 ~ madame wardrobe

Lumière jumped out of your hand and you slowly walked into the room.

'Welcome to your new home!' Lumière spoke. 'Utsav modest but comfortable.'

You stepped further inside and looked around in awe. It was a room with a bed for two persons in the middle of the room. The walls were black with golden decorations. There were two cupboards underneath a big window and there was a wardrobe on against the wall.

'Modest?' You asked. 'It's beautiful.'

'But of course! The master wanted you to have the finest room in the manor!'

Lumière jumped onto the bed and some dust flew up. He waved it away and grinned.

'Oh dear... we were not expecting guests.'

'Ou chante, mademoiselle.' You heard behind you.

You turned around and saw a beautiful duster fly in. She kind of look like a swan. She started flying around the room and cleaned the entire room.

'Don't worry, I'll have this place spotless in no time.' She smiled.

You walked further into the room and the duster landed next to Lumière who grabbed her.

'This plan of yours is dangerous.'

'I would risk everything just to kiss you again, plumette.'

He leaned in but plumette stopped him.

'No, my love. I've been burned by you before. We must be strong.'

'How can I be strong when you make me so weak?'

Cogsworth coughed a few times. They stopped and looked at you. You smiled slightly at them. You turned around and looked at the cupboards.

'Is everything here alive?' You asked while grabbing a hair brush that was on one of the cupboards. 'Hello, and what's your name?' You asked.

Lumière facepalmed himself and plumette sighed.

'That's a hairbrush.' Cogsworth spoke.

You quickly put it down as if nothing happened. Suddenly the wardrobe next to you opened and started Oprah singing. You stepped back in shock.

'Do not be alarmed. This is just your wardrobe.' Lumière spoke and he jumped off the bed. 'Meet, madame the wardrobe. A great singer!' He spoke enthusiastically.

'If she can stay awake.'

You looked at her a little bit closer and smiled friendly.  She yawned.

'Oh please stay with us madame! We have someone for you to dress!' Lumière spoke.

She gasped in excitement and looked at you. One of her... arms, stretched out to you and she pulled you closer.

'Finally! A woman!'

She grabbed the side of yout face.

'Pretty eyes, proud face, perfect canvas! Yes!'

She let you go. You had no idea what was going on.

'I will find you something worthy of a princess.' She smiled. 

You looked at her in confusion. Princess?

'Oh... I'm not a princess.' You said.

'Nonsense! Now, let's see what I got in my drawers.'

She opened one of her drawers and you stepped back in surprise. Some moths flew out. It's was clear that it had been a while since she had dressed someone.
