You sighed and walked down the stairs again. You had been looking for Draco. You hadn't seen anyone all day. You looked outside and saw the others fooling around.. but Draco wasn't there. You put on your cloak and stepped outside.

'Good day to you, mademoiselle.' Lumière smiled.

'Good day guys! Have you... seen Draco, by any chance?'

Lumière looked at Plumette and wiggled his eyebrows. He turned back to you.

'He is somewhere in the garden! Reading. Near the white roses and the deer statues.' Lumière said.

'Thank you.' You smiled and you walked away.

You saw the place Lumière was talking about in the distance. You saw Draco reading. was he reading... guinevere and lancelot? A romance? You walked towards the bench he was sitting on. He looked so peaceful. His hair almost blended in with the snow. You smiled to yourself.

'What are you reading?' You asked.

He closed the book and hid it behind his back.

'Nothing.' He said.

You stopped and smiled slightly. You continued walking and sat down besides him.

'Guinevere and lancelot..' you said.

'Well..actually.. king Arthur and the round table. Knights and men and swords and things..'

You smiled. A romance... Draco reading a romance. Draco looked at your beautiful smile. He couldn't help it. He had been feeling weird towards you ever since the last time in the snow. You looked at him with a small smirk.

'Still.. it's a romance.'

'Alright.' Draco agreed with a sigh.

He put the book down besides him. Suddenly you realised that you wouldn't have sat here without him.. You wouldn't have been or sitting anywhere. He saved your life.

'I never thanked you for saving my life..' you said.

Draco looked at you in surprise. He never wanted you to thank him. He realised that he was keeping you in his manor against your will. You saved him too.. He never thanked you either.

'Well..  I never thanked you for not letting me to be eaten by wolves.' He said.

You laughed shortly. You heard laughing in the distance. The others were having fun. It was great to see that they could actually have fun. Draco looked back too. He seemed a bit sad.

'Sounds like they're having a good time.' You said.

Draco looked back.

'Yes. But when I walk into the room.. laughter dies.' He sighed.

You looked away from him. Into the distance. You remembered home.

'With me too.' You said.

Draco looked at you in disbelieve. How could a girl like you.. make laughter die. All you did was making him smile.. and laugh.

'The villagers say that I'm a funny girl. And I'm sure they don't say it as a compliment.'

'I'm sorry..' He said softly. 'Your village sounds terrible!' He exclaimed.

You let out a smile chuckle.

'It's almost as lonely as your castle.' You sighed.

You looked at the side of his face. He was staring of in the distance. Sunken into his thoughts. You had to say.. He wasn't ugly. And once you get to know him.. He wasn't cruel.
