Head Over Heart

Chapter 19 Hayden's POV

I grabbed the front of Dax's shirt and pulled him closer as I pulled back, "Take me back to the house.. Please," I said and wrapped my legs tighter around his waist.

Dax chuckled and held my hips as he ran back to the house. "You look like crap and you stink," He said mocking me.

I giggled and looked at him as I played with his hair "Let's take a shower, My room is upstairs very last door on the right," I said as I kissed his neck. I smirked before I began sucking on his skin.

Dax groaned and gripped my hips. "H-Hayden," He stuttered as he closed his eyes slightly.

I opened my mouth and bit down on his neck sucking lightly.

Dax stopped walking and held me still. His eyes fell closed and he put my back against the wall next to him.

I pulled back and looked at him smirking "Now, you're mine," I said and kissed his jaw.

Dax chuckled and looked at me "Dollface, I've been yours since I met you," He said before he bit my neck.

I put my hands on the back of his head and closed my eyes. I let out a soft moan a few seconds after my eyes fell closed. "I-I need a shower," I whispered.

Dax pulled back and his deep chuckled filled the empty air. "Way to ruin the moment. Okay, go shower," he said as he sat me down on my feet. I hurried in my room then in my bathroom. I shut the door then I quickly turned on the water. After I knew the water was warm I got in. I sighed softly and closed my eyes as the water cascaded down my body.

A presence appeared behind me. Dax wrapped his arms around me and pulled me back against him. He kissed the side of my neck as he began moving my hair to the other side.

An hour later

I rolled on my side and sighed softly as I was in and out of sleep.

Dax slept peacefully beside me snoring like crazy.

I moved closer to him and put my head against his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer making me snuggle against his side. It happened, it finally happened and now he's snoring, sleeping peacefully as I lay awake next to him. I shook my head and looked over his features, He was truly handsome. I ran my hand gently down his cheek making him move a little. He's amazing, I smiled and laid my head on his chest closing my eyes.

'Uh, Hayden we have a problem,' one of the vampire's said through our mind-link.

I sighed and sat up 'what is it?' I asked her.

'Some of the vamps our missing, You put me in charge of everyone while you're sleeping or out but some of them are gone' she said.

'They're probably out partying because we won,' I told her as I looked at the door.

Dax sat up and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me against his chest. "Everything okay?" he asked.

I nodded and turned my head to the side as he rested his chin on my shoulder. "Yeah, some of the group is missing, they'll be back tho," i said turning in his arms. "I love you," I whispered and kissed his cheek.

Dax smiled and looked at me "I love you too," he said before he kissed me deeply.

'Go look around the woods, they shouldn't be very far away,' I told her before I blocked everyone out. I kissed Dax back and wrapped my arms around his neck.

Dax pulled back and looked at me lovingly. "Look's like your fully mine now," he said chuckling.

I rolled my eyes and smiled "Yes now I'm fully yours," I said and kissed his cheek before I fell on my bed next to him.
