High school life

A normal morning

"Autumn ! Wake up we're gonna be late for school!" I scream,
"Are you sleeping through your alarm again?!"
Grrrrr!

I stomp up to her house door and gently knock, making sure not to disturb her parents even though I am stressed because we are going to be late for out first day back to school.
Then suddenly the door opens.

"Oh Luna how are you?"
"Hello Mrs light, I'm fine thanks for asking!"
"Let me guess Autumn isn't answering her phone?"
"Yep, she's probably still sleeping."
"That child of mine! She's worse than a bear during hibernation!"
I laugh,
"Go right up Luna and if she doesn't get up when you ask nicely then I give you full permission to punch her out of bed."
"Thank you Mrs light."
"Oh come on I've known you since you were little! Call me Grace, plus calling me Mrs makes me feel old. I can still be down with the kids you know!"
"Oh I know that especially from the camping trip we all took, heh heh!"
I give a sneaky smile and run up the stairs as Grace yells,
"I thought we agreed to keep that a secret, I bought your silence with ice cream and you agreed!"
"I know!"
"And don't you forget it!"

I continue to walk up the stairs as soon as I get to the top I hear a big bang.
It is coming from Autumn's bedroom.
I sprint down the hall and into her room, wondering what's happening this time.
I open the door and to my surprise an alarm clock flies by, almost hitting my head.
I sigh in relief that it missed,
"Autumn! You almost had my head off!"
As I look at her I can see her bury her head in her arms as she tries curling up at her desk.
Did she?
Sighing I walk over to her and tap her shoulder but she shrugged me off.
"You stayed awake all night again didn't you?"
She turns her face to my direction still with her head in her arms but with one eye open.
"N...no I -yawn-...didn't!"
"Lair." I say with a smile.
I pull on her blanket that she is using to keep warm, but she yanks it back.

I grab her chair and pull it sharply, making her fall on the floor.
"Hey what was that for?!"
"You wouldn't get up sooooo..."
"Did you have to do it when I was at the good part of my dream?!"
"How was I to know?!"
"Hey stop laughing!"
At this moment in time the expression on her face is so funny I have to laugh!
I offer my hand to to help her up but then her frown turned in to a evil looking grin, before I know it I'm on the floor with Autumn. She looks at me and starts to laugh and I can't help but laugh along with her.
Then I remember why I am in her house the first place. I quickly jump up and shouted "OMG! We're gonna be late!"
I pull Autumn  up and push her into her closet "Get dressed!"
I run to her desk and start stuffing pens, pencils, school books and anything I can find that she would need, as she comes out the closet I grab her hand and run down stairs. Before we go out of the door I grab a piece of toast off the plate and shove it in her mouth and run out the door.
