"Will you marry me?" He asked, kneeling down.
She stepped back in horror.
"W-what?"
He looked nervous. "I-i said, 'Will you marry me?'"
"No," She turned and stalked off.

***Fall 1857, London, England***
It was a dark, rainy evening and a man was standing in the shadows of an inn in the middle of London. He watched as an old friend of his ran out of the inn looking about for someone. Someone he wouldn't find. The man slipped behind him, raised a block of wood, and hit his old acquaintance in the head.
William fell, and the last thing he saw was a man he believed to be his friend standing over him. Then, there was nothing.

I hope you guys liked this part. I was going to post this after another story was finished, but I'm still working on a title for that one. Any suggestions would be welcome for that--a quick synopsis is:
Lady Alessandra Bartoletti, daughter of Lord Bartoletti is getting to the age where her father can no longer ignore the fact that his daughter must get married soon or she may never find a husband... She knows she cannot prolong this forever, but she knows that she wants a man who will allow her to do as she wishes when it comes to riding and fencing, but will also love and care for her... However, there is a man with dark intentions of invading Sienna with help from her father and the man she loves...
