Chapter 8: The End

     I went to school the next day, and breathed in the fresh air. I felt free. Some weight of my life had been lifted off my shoulders. I could go on now, believing in the future, and trusting that I would be okay.

     I smiled at everyone I saw. I welcomed the day and enjoyed this new feeling of life. I felt as if there was finally a reason to live. Life was meant to be enjoyed. I wanted to be happy and share my happiness with others. At the end of the day, I smiled, and this time, I was truly happy.
