I had my bad days, so did everyone else. I was still gratefull, my life was better than some. One day, I had fallen. The kids around me laughed, and so did I. Tears flowed from my eyes, but it was surely from happiness, I told myself.
Blood, starting to drip from my head, I still forced my face into a smile. The kids, now worried, stopped laughing. "Are you okay?" their voices asked.
"I am okay." I said. The words I said were true. I was okay. I laughed again, reassuring them that I was. But it wasn't convincing enough. I was taken to get help immediately.
But I still smiled.
