I soon come to know the name of the female voice this morning. A girl named Yuki Cross, she is the headmasters daughter and part of the disciplinary committee... with Zero... what an odd name, seriously!
Yuki is a very spirited girl, she led me through all the classrooms and I'm even going with her to the cross of the Night Class and Day Class. I patiently watch from a distance as all the girls freak out over the Night Class. I don't get why they're so special... I mean they're gorgeous yes, but that's about it. As the Night Class pass me a certain brunette boy keeps looking my way. His long hair falls effortlessly around his shoulders and his piercing red eyes scan my figure up and down. Zero suddenly appears beside me. As he does the man stares at Zero and continues walking.
"Stay away from Kaname... from all of the Night Class." I look at him, he still flares at the one who can only be known as Kaname. I nod and walk away from him.
I decide to take an alternate route back to the dorms. As I walk, the reflections of the lake bounce against the pinks, oranges, and red of the setting sun. Suddenly a gust of wind blows past me. And a voice calls out, "Y/N!" Turning around I come face to face with the man from my dream.
"Luciel?" He smiles, "You remember me then! Good!" His dark clothes and black hair make him melt into the shadows. The only thing I can make out from this distance are his piercing yellow orbs. He steps closer to me. And opens his arms, I slowly walk into invitation for a hug. His arms wrap around me and suddenly I feel safe. I breath in deeply. His hand strokes my head.
"My Lady, you are not safe here..." Suddenly a tree branch snaps somewhere behind me. His head instantly shoots up and his pupils narrow. "We're not alone..." he steps in front of me. "Show yourself!" He calls out to the darkness.
I watch as a dark figure steps out of the shadows in the tree line. Kaname? Was he following me?
"Ah, the notorious Kaname Kuran! I should've expected this!" Luciel chimes.
Kaname walks closer to us, "What are you doing with him, Y/N?" I poke my head out from behind Luciel.
"Hmm? Nothing! Nothing at all!" I wave my hands. Luciel looks back at me and mouths "Are you okay?" I nod back at him. He smiles and turns back to Kaname.
"And what business do YOU have with her?" Luciel counters. "Stalking a girl at night? Oh if only they knew!"
Kaname glares at him. "You left long ago, why have you returned?"
"Isn't it obvious? I've come back for Y/N! She shouldn't be forced in this little cage like the rest of you choose to be!" Luciel grabs my hand. "I'm going to free her!"
Kanames eyes glow red. "I will not allow you to do that." I look up to see Luciels eyes changing to red as well.
"You'll have to get past my cold dead body!" Luciel spits. Kaname narrows his eyes. "So be it." He raises his hand and-....
