Our Little Secret [Ignis x Gladiolus]

Into The Darkness

Ignis woke up first and looked around it was dark which instantly put him into high alert. He shook his lover awake quickly. Gladio was harder to wake up than Prompto but he managed to do it. The shield slowly opened his eyes and looked up at the cook.

"What's wrong?" Gladiolus asked before he he realized it was night. "Oh shit...." They scrambled to their feet and started to look around. They looked at their cell phones to try and call Noctis or Prompto but they were dead. Gladio was about to yell for help but Ignis covered his mouth swiftly and pointed from behind the rock they had been sleeping at. A red giant stood there prowling around letting out low growls. Ignis summons his weapons and slowly backs away from the demon.

"We need to find a campsite. Now." Gladio said a bit panicked as he summoned his weapon as well. Ignis nods and sees the blue smoke from a camp but it seemed far. Gladio looks over as well and sees it. "If we run we can make it." They take off gaining attention from the giant but it was to slow to keep up. The two had high hopes they where going to make it but as it seemed the camp was farther than they thought making them quickly lose hope not to mention the Iron Golem in front of them. Ignis jumped towards it in attempts to kill it.

"No!" Gladio screamed at the skinny man. But he didn't hear and started to attack it. Ignis held his own well, attacking the legs and jumping back when needed. Gladiolus soon jumped in to help. The battle went on for a while due to its large amount of durability and just as they thought they were going to beat it the demon it swung its weapon and sliced Ignis' stomach. At first it seemed okay like it just got his clothes but Ignis fell into a forming pool of blood. Gladio couldn't belive it they had came so close and now..... This. He teared up and slashed at the monster till it fell. He ran back to his fallen lover.

"Damnit don't die on me...." Gladiolus said as he started to cry. Ignis just slowly looked up at the sheild as he wiped away a tear. He tried to say something before he fell limp. Gladiolus just hugged the cook and held him close crying into the darkness.
