The Greenest Apple

Chapter 1

Garett flipped his heavy sword and pointed it at his enemy, a centaur. The centaur waved around his head, as if saying: "Come at me". The centaur charged at Garett. The centaur was lightning fast. The noise of the ground being pounded by his hooves could be heard from miles away. The centaur twirled his big, red halberd. He then prepared to strike. The halberd was very big and it looked heavy as ever. It had stains of blood all over, yet it still looked clean, and was able to reflect the beautiful rays brought upon it by the sun. Garett swiped his sword at the creature, but it jumped over him, and sliced him diagonally down the back. Garett fell. The centaur pointed the halberd at his neck, and just as he was about to perform the finishing blow, suddenly, an arrow penetrated the centaurs chest. Garett was unconscious from all the blood loss. Ming Lao jumped down from the tall, oak tree and hid his bow. He looked around and picked up the bloody halberd. Another man swooshed in. That man was Connor. He picked up Garett, nodded at Ming Lao, and ran.
