The Greenest Apple

Chapter 3

The next morning, Garett was woken up by the roosters. He got up and went out of his room. Ming Lao was laying in a couch, eating hot-dogs made of centaur meat. (hot-centaurs) Ming Lao took a glane at Garett, put away the plate and walked up to him:

"Go back" he put his hands in his poket "You should heal"

"I... I feel fine" Ming looked at him with curiosity " I don't feel the pain anymore"

"Huh?" Ming slapped Garett in the face "Git back there! I'm calling Christina"

"Who's Christina?" Ming Lao ignored Garetts question and left the living room.

Garett then saw a shiny, green apple on the wooden table. He starts walking circles around it, hypnotized by the beauty of the apple. He reached out for it. Once he made contact with it, a burst came out of the apple. Christina bust into the room, screaming:

"Don't eat the apple" But it was too late. Garett had already bit deep into the apple.

An electric aura surrounded him. He flew up in the sky...

Christina yelled:

"NO!" she started to cry "you idiot!"

Garett was then struck by lightning, and so he lay there. Christina was pleading all over him. Ming Lao, well... He was eating hot-centaurs. A bolt of lightning twirled around his body. He then opened his eyes.

"Apples are gross" Christina jumped back with a yelp "By the way... How long have y'all been taking care of me?"

"Well... It's been 4 months" Garett stared at the ground "You should go bak to your family once you're all healed."

His eyes had changed from the electricity. The part of the eye whih would normally be red is now black. His pupils are now red.

He glared at Christina:

"I don't have family" Christina was spooked from both his eyes, and his statement "So... I ca-"

"I'm so sorry" She hugged him "Everything will be alright." She began to pat his bak. He moaned, and pat her head. Ming Lao hopped up from the couch and was surprised by the turn of events:

"Whoa..." Garett grinned at him "Imma just... leave"

Suddenly, a black thunder bolt came out of Garetts shoulders. All of a sudden, it turned into a long dragon. It had eyes that glowed a cold blue color. It had green acid dripping from its sharp fangs. It wrapped its long body around Christinas neck. It pierced through her heart and bit her on the hip. It happened so quickly that nobody was able to make a noise. Then a wraith-like creature took Garett away. The wraith let out a very loud noise. Ming Lao charged into the room, only to see Christinas corpse laying there. Tears of agony and sadness dripped down his face. He really liked Christina, but had no intention of being romantic with her. He then boasted: "I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE, GARETT?I WILL KILL YOU!!!
