March 15th, 12:01 p.m.

I turned my back against the brick wall and thought to myself as I steadied my breathing. The cogs in my brain started to turn as I try to figure out a plan.

Multiple options ran through my mind in order to help the victim.

1. Calling a teacher

It would take too long.

2. Face them head on.

Are you crazy?

3. Lure them away from the boy.

What am I going to use as bait though?

My eyes darted around my surroundings, landing on the lunch box next to my feet. I gritted my teeth and made my decision quickly. Picking up my lunch box, I hurled it far away from the scene, but just enough to make a sound loud enough for them to hear.

The three asshol- bullies froze and turned towards the direction of where the sound came from. The boy looked up from his hands and caught sight of me behind the wall. His gaze meeting mine for a second before covering his eyes again.

"What was that?"

They slowly walked towards the object to inspect it while I crouched down and headed over to the hurt boy.

His eyes were shut tight and his arms were folded around his stomach, kneeling over and groaning. I shook him on his shoulder lightly and whispered,

"..Jimin! It's me, Hyerin! I've distracted them for a while, you gotta hurry."

Jimin fluttered his eyes open and tried his best to stand. His hand still rested on his stomach as he stood in a slightly crouched manner. I put my arm around his shoulder and escorted him away from the garden as quickly as possible.

Luckily those three students were thick-headed and took a long time inspecting the sound. I ought to report them to the teachers, if they didn't know about them already.

I had took Jimin to the closest secluded classroom I could find and laid him against the cream colored walls. I winced at the sight of fresh bruises over his hands and legs. It wasn't long until the pink haired boy opened his mouth and spoke.

"Sorry.."

I was taken aback by his apology and quickly asked,

"What do you mean?"

"Your sandwich."

I hit him lightly on his back and scoffed.

"Ow! But you love your food."

"You should worry about yourself first. Consider yourself lucky that I happened to pass by."

"Mm.. thanks.."

"Here, I'll take you to the infirmary now, can you stand?"

I extended out my hand for him to grip on and he looked at me for a moment before holding onto it tightly. I pulled him up and gave a pat on his back.

"Wounds soon heal, don't worry."

"And yours?"

I bit my lip and looked away. I tried to change the topic by asking him a question that's been dreading on mind.

"Um.. can I know why you were involved in that scene earlier?"

Jimin darted his eyes all around and scratched his head for a bit. His gaze turned back to me and stared deeply into my eyes. A small gasp escaped from my mouth as he spoke.

"Let's just say I couldn't bare to see my loved one cry."

After leaving Jimin to the nurse's care at the infirmary, I went back to my classroom. Guess I had to buy a new lunch box, I thought. As I took my books out from the locker, a piece of paper flew down and I picked it up.
