Chapter 5: The Phone Call

Dark walked into his room and answered the call, "hello? Who is this and how'd you get my number?..." Dark said gently "calm down! Is your name Dark?" She asked politely, "yes?" Dark said questioning her "okay...my name is Signe! And you were there when Jack got shot! Correct?" She asked, "yes! I don't understand why you need to talk to me about this?" Dark said sitting down on his bed, "well! The reason I'm talking to you is to keep check on Jack! Because I know that he's staying there with you! And I'm making sure that your the real one! Because you'd be surprised on how many people pretend to be people! Anyways getting off topic here!, the basic reason I called you is because I need to know if he remembers what happened!....so does he?" She explained, "I was talking to him about this before! He doesn't remember your name or Sam's for that matter, he remembers your faces and he said the 'girl with green hair reminded him of Sam!' But he doesn't know who you's are! Now please let me continue my food before it gets cold and before Jack comes looking for me!" Dark explained, "fine! And thank you! Bye!" She said hanging up, Dark walked back out of his room but at his door he was met with a little green lad, "who was that?" He asked cutely "oh it was just Mark! He wanted to talk about something" Dark covered up quite well, "Darky?~" Jack said cutely, "yessy?" Dark said smiling slightly, "can we do something fun today?" Jack said putting his head in Dark's chest and hugging his waist, "like what?" Dark said swaying side to side slowly "I dunno! Just something fun!" Jack said looking up at Dark, "well there's a carnival in town maybe we should go!" Dark said putting a hand through Jack's hair, "a c-carnival?" Jack stuttered, "yes a carnival! Why? Bad experience?" Dark asked looking down at him, "no...I never got to go to a carnival or anything like that my parents would never allow it when we had the money! Mostly we were poor all the time because mom and dad used to always buy liquor! If we were lucky we'd get a bottle to ourselves! Not of liquor but sometimes! Because that's all we had to drink! We never drank water all that much because it was gross! But I'm so excited! ITS A CARNIVAL!!!! AND I GET TO GO!!! I wish Sam was still alive! She would've loved to go to a carnival!" Jack explained, "well go get ready!" Dark said shoving him into his room, "what no kiss?" Jack pouted, Dark rolled his eyes and passionately kissed Jack, "now go get ready!" Dark said smiling.

Yeah I know this chapter is very short compared to my other ones but I couldn't really add anymore! And plus I gotta think of a thumbnail for the next chapter!
