Steak Sandwiches and Fruit Smoothies.

I groan when I feel Cheeseburger brush against my nose, his tail making me sneeze.

"Get off me, fatty." I grumble, pushing his butt off of my chest, "Lay off the fries, nasty."

He fluffs his tail at me and sticks his nose in the air, turning around and curling up at the foot of the couch. I roll my eyes and throw my feet over the edge, digging through my bag until I find my phone. When I do, I check the time.

7:56.

Alright. I have time.

I get up and throw my bag over my shoulder, kissing Cheeseburger's head, and making my way outside the shed, and to my mom's house. When I make it there, I take my slippers off, and listen for sounds. I groan quietly when I hear my mom's shower on.

I walk up the stairs with my bag, slowly making my way up in case the wicked witch from the west comes out of her bathroom. I sigh gratefully when I make it to my bedroom without having to see her.

When I get inside, I take a quick shower, shave my legs, and wash my face. Wrapping my towel around my body, I go to my room and search through my clothes in my closet. I grab a pair of white, high waisted shorts, and a cropped hoodie.

When I am done drying off and changing into it, I put on some white Nike's and put my hair into a messy bun. I grab my bag and run out of my room, and down the stairs. Mentally face-palming myself, I remember that my mom is home and could be downstairs.

Oh well, too late now. I make it to the first floor and peak around the corner, seeing that the kitchen is empty as well as the living room, across from it. So I make a dash for it and run to the front door, quietly escaping to the front yard, and not looking back while I run down the street.

Once I'm almost halfway to the school, I slow to a walk, and smile brightly when I see Jaxon, Max, and Blake all standing where they were last Wednesday. I jog over to them and grin, waving.

"Hey," Max calls out to me while I stop to stand beside Jax, "It's been too long,"

I chuckle and shake my head, smiling a little while opening my arms for a hug.

"One at a time now," I say jokingly, and Max comes toward me first, but Jaxon pushes him to the side, making him trip a little, and steps in front of me, blocking my view of pretty much everything but his black hoodie.

I smile and wrap my arms around his neck, standing on my toes and pulling him down for a hug. He chuckles, causing his chest to vibrate, and he leans down while he encloses me in his arms, pushing his face into my neck and breathing on it, making me squeal.

"That tickles, quit it," I giggle, trying to get away from him, "Jaxon!" I whine, making him laugh, but he continues.

I hear Max and Blake chuckle behind him, and Jax finally backs off, releasing me while I cover my beet red face.
