It was still dark out when I finally opened my eyes from an
orgasm-induced slumber. My head was still slightly foggy from all the
alcohol I had consumed earlier that night, but my memory was crystal
clear.
Looking to the side, I was immediately greeted with the sight of a
naked sleeping Luke, sprawled out in all his glory. I bit my lip coyly
as images of our little rendezvous filled my mind.
His usual domineering facial structure was now relaxed, making him
look youthful and cute. His pink lips were parted slightly as gentle
snores escaped his mouth. Oh, that mouth...
I mentally slapped myself, regaining focus. Get out of the house.
I was no stranger to one night stands, and fleeing in the middle of
the night before they awoke was one of my fortes. It was easier this
way, less awkward and easier to avoid the get the fuck out of my
house, bitch conversations.
Swift as a ninja, I rolled out of Luke's extremely comfortable bed and
crawled along the floor, hunting for my belongings. It was pitch black
in the room so it was definitely a little more difficult then I had
originally thought.
Thump."Ow!" I hissed, cupping my palm against my forehead that was sure to have internal bleeding and bruising within the next few minutes.
Squinting through the dark, I glared at where I presumed the bed post that I had just face-planted into would be. I was in the midst of growling profanities under my breath and sweeping my hand across the carpeted floor in search when I heard a faint, raspy chuckle.
My body seized up like a deer in the headlights, eyes zeroing in on where Luke's motionless figure was still laying ever so peacefully. Heart thrashing wildly in my throat, I felt sweat start to gather on the top of my still aching forehead. Did I wake him up? Please, please don't tell me I woke him up.
Though Luke was undoubtedly the best lay of my life, he didn't seem like the type to appreciate his latest hook-up prowling around his bedroom naked in the middle of the night. With the way he carried himself, it was easy to perceive that he wasn't someone to be trifled with.
I shuddered involuntarily.
For several long moments, I stared at the shadowy silhouette of the blonde boy. It certainly didn't look like he was awake. Quite honestly, from this distance I couldn't even tell if he was breathing. And if I was any better of a person and not so concerned with making a quick escape, I definitely would've checked.
But today was not that day.
In record breaking time, I somehow managed to find my dress and my shoes and quickly assembled myself before bolting out the door. Thankfully, my phone and keys were still neatly tucked away in the convenient side pockets of my dress.
Pressing the home button of my phone, I was immediately alerted to the various text messages from my room-mate wondering if I was alive or stuffed in the back of a van somewhere. Smiling to myself at his quirkiness, I sent a short reply assuring him that I was alive and well.
Upon further inspection of my phone, I also noticed that it was 4:36 in the morning and somehow, I didn't feel tired at all.
Stepping over numerous plastic cups and even more passed out bodies, I made it downstairs and towards the front door within a few minutes. On my endeavor, I couldn't help but notice a nearly full plate of pizza rolls just resting idly on the pristine, silver counter.
