Lost

Chapter 3

"Didn't you close the door when you left"? "Yeah I did" Sage said going in the house. " Sage come back " clay whisper yelled. Suddenly Sage came out with a rum bottle " dads home" she said showing them the bottle.

"He's probably already past out" Sage said walking back in. The boys followed behind her, turning the corner Sage saw her dad. " told you " she said walking up the stairs. " yeah yeah " clay said following her and behind him was Percy.

"I'll be doing school in my room" Percy said walking down the hall. "So how much homework do you have" Sage asked. "Not much I got most of it done in my free period, you". "I have quite a bit to do". "Well I can help".

Sage and clay did school for about three hours before they stopped. "Sage  come down here right now" came a voice from downstairs. "You'll want to go home" Sage said walking down the stairs. "Yeah my parents are probably waiting, see you tomorrow". "Bye c".

"Sage come down here now " the voice continued. "I'm coming dad, hold on". "What do you need" Sage said turning the corner. "Help me up to my room will you" her dad said clearly drunk.

"Okay come on"Sage said pulling her dad towards the stairs. He was holding on to his rum like it was the last thing on earth. "There you go" She said dropping him on his bed. Before she left she put the covers over him.

"I always hated you the most, so fat and ugly" was all what she head while closing the door. Walking towards her room she heard a noise. "Anyone home".

"Yeah everyone's home except for mom" Sage yelled down. "Keep it down, I'm trying to sleep" came a yell from their father. "How was work" Sage asked as gunner started walking up the stairs.

"It was fine...I want to see the other guy" gunner said with a laugh.

"Yeah whatever. I get beat up every day, get used to it". "Who's making dinner" gunner asked changing the subject. "Me of course" Sage said walking down the stairs.

"Tell me when it's done" gunner said opening his door. "Sure thing".

Dinner was eaten and it was already 9:00 pm and there was still no sign of their mom coming home. It's a good thing though it meant that they wouldn't get yelled at for some stupid thing that pissed her off.

Sage decided to got to bed even though it was still early.

It was 1:00 am when she head a loud bang. Slowly coming out of her room she saw a shadow. The way the house was set up she had to pass gunners room and then she would reach the staircase. Slowly creeping forward she heard another loud bang.

Searching for something to protect herself she found nothing. Before she could move she saw the figure walking up the stairs.

"what the hell are you doing up" the figure yelled. "I could ask you the same thing". "Don't you dare sass me" the figure said running towards her. Grabbing Sages hair, dragged her down the stairs. She now knew who the figure was.

It was her mom and she had just angered the beast.
