Lost

Chapter 6

School was a drag, the teachers were still rude and the kids still beat her up. Clay didn't walk home with her ether because he had a doctors appointment. 

"Oh look it's slut" came a voice form behind. "Oh come on I just want to talk, no need to be so rude. I said I wanted to talk" James said grabbing her arm.

"Leave me alone please". " that's not going to happen" he said throwing her to the ground. When she didn't get up he began to kick her as hard as he could.

"Get up you piece of shit" he said grabbing her by the collar. Pulling her up to his eyes he head budded her. "I suggest you move or else something worse might happen to you" he said walking off. Leaving her laying on the ground.

She laid there for a minute before getting up. She knew that it wouldn't be any better when she got home. It was odd she didn't run into her brother on the way home. "Maybe he got out early" Sage thought to herself.

Opening the front door she called for Percy. "You here Percy. Hey is anyone home". There was no reply. She decided to go to her room and do some school Percy would be back soon.

But he wasn't.

It was 9:00 pm and no one had come home. It was normal for her parents to be gone but not Percy or gunner. She decided to call Percy first when he didn't pick up she called gunner, this time there was a reply.

"Hey sassy what do you need". "Have you seen Percy he's not home". "Wait he didn't walk home with you". "No that's why I'm calling". "Ok give me a second, I'm coming home".

It was 9:30 when gunner got home. "Okay have you seen him at all today" was the first thing gunner said when he got home. "No I haven't" Sage replied worried. "Hey it's okay we will find him let's go check out the dump he's probably there"

They went to the dump but the people who worked there hadn't seen him for a couple of days. "I'm sure he's fine he's probably waiting at home for us right now" gunner said getting in his 67 charger.

"You're probably right" Sage said getting in. "Now what's with you holding you ribs". "What". "You heard me, was it that James kid again". "It doesn't matter" She said turning the other direction.

"Yeah it does when we get home I'm having a look at you okay". They didn't talk for the rest of the car ride back. When the got home the door was open. "Really again, can dad not close a freaking door" Sage said walking in.

"Oh my god" Sage stood still. "Percy are you okay" she said running to his side. "Just dandy" Percy replied. "Gunner get the first add kit" Sage shouted at him. "Why, what's the mat..." gunner didn't need to finish that sentence when he say the grim state of his brother.

"Oh shit" he shouted running to find the first add kit. "Man didn't think I looked that bad" Percy said trying to lighten the mood. "You look fine, now lay down I need to stop the bleeding".

Just then both of he parents walked in. "Things just keep on getting better and better" Sage said under her breath. At first she didn't notice it but now she did her father had a gun and her mother a bloody knife.

"What's going on" gunner said walking down the stairs. " no time to answer, go downstairs now" their dad yelled. "What's happening" Sage shouted. "Keep your voices down their coming" their dad continued.

"Who's coming" gunner said picking up Percy. " me and you're mom did a bad thing, and we all are in trouble".

Suddenly there were gun shots and a sound of a body getting shot and hitting the floor.
