Lost

Chapter 7

"Run now" Sage heard after the firing was done. She had no clue who was shot. But she didn't see gunner or Percy so hopefully it wasn't them. Running down the stairs she almost tripped. she started to hear footsteps in front and behind her.

There also was a trail of blood on the steps. The lights were turned off but she could make out two people. It was gunner and Percy. Who was the person behind her.

She quickly found out when she turned around and came face to face with her father. "Are you all okay " Sage said. "Well I'm not but you already knew that" Percy said.

"Did anyone get shot is what I meant". "just your mom". "Is she okay" gunner asked. "No" was the simple reply. "What the hell did you guys do to get us in so much trouble" gunner asked.

"It's none of your business". "My mom is most likely dead I think we deserve to know what you did" Percy said threw girted teeth. "Fine, we helped  al-Qaeda Develop A Nuclear Weapon". "I'm sorry you what. Who the hell are after us" "Yeah not really sure about that". Her dad stated.

"Why did you think that was a good thing. First of all you could go to jail for over twenty years. And apparently people will go after you" gunner said.

"Who has a phone" Sage said. "I do" Percy said pulling his phone out. "What are you going to do with it" her dad asked. "I'm calling the police, no one else is dying tonight". "You can't call them" her dad yelled. "I can and I will".

Suddenly there was a loud bang. "Sage stay with Percy, gunner come with me". When the boys left Sage began to call the police. Right as she finished the call there was three loud gun shots.

" do you think we'll be alright" Percy asked. " everything's going to end up okay I promise. The police are coming and they can help" Sage said. Even though she knew they weren't getting out of here.

There was two more gunshots then the sound of foot steps coming down the stairs. Trying to find something to protect herself with she saw a wooden bored. Quickly grabbing that she braced himself for whoever came down the stairs.

"Sage we need your help" gunner said throwing her a gun. Looking back at her brother he stared telling her that he was alright. Running up the stairs she braced herself for the worst.

Hearing another shot gunner covered Sage. "Careful okay there's five of them up there knowing you, you could take all of them" gunner said trying to make the mood better. It didn't work.

Creeping out she got a head shot on one of the guys. "Told you" gunner said. "Yeah I got one there's four more". Opening the door she saw her father laying on the ground dead.

Not seeing anymore people she continued walking. *bang* Sage looked down to see if she had been shot. She looked up to see a stranger on the floor. "I told you to be careful" gunner said.

Turning the corner she saw two more people and her and gunner picked them off. " one more left " gunner said. Suddenly a man came running at gunner with a knife. Sage shot her gun but nothing happened. It was jammed. "Gunner look out" she shouted but it was too late then man was already on gunner.

There was a loud scream then a bang. The stranger feel to the floor she saw the knife sticking out of her brother. "Well...that's unfortunate" gunner said clearly in pain. "Oh god I'm so sorry, I tried to shot but my gun jammed.

"Hey, hey...it's okay...I'm fine" suddenly there was a loud screech then soundingly a huge group of men came running in. There was a loud bang then nothing.
