A sharp pain coursed through my body. My eyes were swollen shut. I could feel someone hovering above me. All of a sudden a stinging liquid was poured over me. I could tell it was rubbing alcohol because of the smell. I wasn't tied up for a change, but I still couldn't move. The sharp pain had gone away but a new stinging had taken its place.
Jason: Rise and shine.
It was Jason.
Jason: We got a lot of miles to cover.
He lifted my head, ripped the tape off my mouth, and poured water into my mouth. I smacked my lips a few times and then I spoke.
Skylar: Where are we?
Jason: Nowhere.
I could feel a bag going over my head and my arms and legs getting tied up.
Skylar: I'm hungry.
Jason: Well stop by a diner.
First I ran away from a drug-head mother, who probably doesn't even know i'm gone, now I'll be running away from a loverboy and a guy with a gun. Great. I thought of a plan to get away. First, I'll eat and say I have to go to the bathroom, then I sneak through a window and escape. My plan was foolproof, but I guess I was the fool. The so call diner was a gas station. Jason untied me while the guy with the gun held his gun at my head.
Jason: Here.
He handed me some clothes that weren't stained and battered.
Skylar: Where am I going to change?
Jason: Car.
Jason looked the guy with the gun out the car, Jason went into the gas station, while the guy with a gun changed behind the car. My plan was foiled, I changed into the grey shirt and blue jeans. I tapped on the window letting the guy with a gun know I had changed. He got back in the car.
Skylar: I need to pee.
No answer.
Skylar: Excuse me.
I tapped his shoulder, still no answer. Jason came out of the gas station and into the car.
The Guy With A Gun: She has to pee.
Jason turned around and said, here. It was one of the old beer bottles.
Skylar: What am I supposed to do with this?
Jason: Pee.
I decided to hold it. Jason handed me a bar of deodorant and a piece of mint gum.
Skylar: I'm hungry.
Jason rolled his eyes and threw a sausage biscuit to me.
Jason: After you eat I need to give you more rubbing alcohol and give you bandages.
I looked at my scars.
Skylar: Where are we going?
Jason shot the guy with a gun a cold look at him then at me. He started the car and drove off.
